Evie's pov:
A few days ago, Ben broke it off with mal because he was too focused and stressed on being king or something, I only knew what mal had told me which wasn't much because she was in so much shock and sadness she couldn't talk much. Poor girl. I was there for her the entire time and I haven't left her side, neither have we left out dorm, but we got Jay and Carlos to bring us food and the homework we need. They've both been quite helpful. Mal was sleeping at the moment so I decided to make a dress for her, it was her significant colours, purple and green. I loved it and I was sure she would like it too, hopefully anyways. I've grown up around mal so I know every emotion of here, everything she likes and more, but i dont know why im so nervous as to if she would like this dress? Evie get out of ur mind mal will me waking up soon.
Around 20 minutes later mal wakes up
"E?" Mal croaks
"Yes? Are you ok?" I reply maybe a bit to fast
"Woah E calm down, im not going anywhere"
"Sorry, anyways I made you a dress!"
"Let me see"
"It's not finished but here it is!"
I show her the dress and her eyes light up
"Wow it's gorgeous"
"And it'll look gorgeous on you"
She smiles at me and gets up to hug me
"Glad you like it"
"How could I not? E, everything you make is gorgeous because it's made by the one and only Evie"
I smile at her. I then remembered something, it's the royal ball tonight and I have to deliver dresses, oh shoot.
"Mal, can you help me deliver some dresses?"
"Yea of course! Whos do you need to deliver?"
"Jane, Audrey, Lonnie and a few others"
"Ok, let's go!"
We leave the dorm and start delivering the dresses, first we delivered Janes because her dorms closest to ours, then we went to Audrey's. We delivered all the dresses and went back to our dorm, when we got back I grabbed another dress and gave it to mal
"Tada! The dress I made for you!"
She smiles and looks at the dress
"Thank you E"
"Just For you M!"
I looked at her with a nervous look
"E? What's up?" She said in her soft pretty voice
"Oh uh it's nothing."
"Evie. Don't lie to me, what's up? You can tell me I won't judge you" she says, making me feel safe.
I take a deep breath
"Mal, this may ruin our friendship but i cant keep it in.. Im inlove with you, I tried to hide it especially because you were with Ben and u both seemed so happy and I didn't want to ruin that because seeing you happy makes me happy but then he broke it off, and I felt so bad for you but also a little relieved because I had a chance-" I then got cut off by a soft pair of lips on mine, she had kissed me, the girl I've loved for ages, kissed me? Me out of all people? I kissed back once I realised, I forgot to mention, me and doug broke up a few months ago, but we're still friends.
"I like you too Evie, I never confessed because you know what our parents taught us, and I tried to shake it off and be with Ben and I thought I was inlove with him but that was just a thought, I've always loved you." She says
"Wait ur being serious?" Im completely shocked, how did I not notice? I mean mala good at hiding her feelings but I've never not been able to tell her feelings, im good at knowing her feelings.
"Yes E"
"Sooo does that mean ur my girlfriend?"
"I guess so" she says blushing
I am also blushing
"Want to go to the dance/ball with me?"
"Yes!"
A/N: this is kinda short but the parts will get longer hopefully, the next bit will be the dance/ball and there will be jarlos/ Jane x carlos and malvie/ mal x Evie and maybe a few more. Hope you enjoyed this chapter even tho it's short😭
