I leapt to my feet as my alarm went off. Who knew what possibilities the day would bring? My heart began to race as I remembered those soulful eyes... those long, girthy tusks. I wondered how they would feel inside me...

No. I stopped myself. What am I doing? I barely know this man, not to mention he's a walrus.

And yet as I went about my day, I couldn't keep my mind off him. I impatiently watched the clock until I could wait no longer. I rushed down to the beach and waited anxiously. I sat on a balcony, watching the waves. The mysterious walrus man had not shown up, and I was beginning to lose hope. That's when I heard something moving in the water.

Suddenly, the walrus man flew out of the ocean, splashing me with water. He landed on the weathered boards beside me, holding a fish gently between his clenched jaws.

"I brought us dinner," he said with a wink, spitting out his catch. I could see the hint of teeth marks on the fish's body.

"Wow...! How nice of you!" I said shyly. He  closer to me, and I could smell the sea on his pallid skin. Trembling slightly, I was desperate to break the awkward tension. "How do you move so quickly?"

"Walruses can move surprisingly fast on land," he whispered into my ear, "matching the running speed of a human. You think you can keep up, baby?"

"I... I was just curious about your culture."

"I used to be human, you know. But that was a long time ago. I've learned to embrace my true potential; to love myself for who I am. So, is this a date?"

I smiled shyly. "Maybe." We were inches away from touching. He smiled back at me, his white teeth visible, and cupped my cheek with his surprisingly warm flipper. I laid my hand on top of his, leaning forward. And that's when I kissed the walrus man.
