Natalie's POV

Knock! knock!

"Come i—"

"Nat-Nat mukha namang poknat!" I heard him! It's him again!

"Yah! Yoon Jeonghan!" I peeked outside my office and I saw him running into the hallway, dahil alam niyang makakatikim na naman siya sa akin ng sapak! Bwisit talaga siya.

Pagkatalikod ko ay dumungad agad sa akin ang mukha ng papa ko. "P-Papa, nandito kana pala," I tucked my hair behind my ears.

"Yes my darling, nagsisigawan na naman kayo ni Jeonghan," He chuckled, and tapped my back para pumasok na kami sa loob ng opisina ko.

Well, this day is not the usual day na nakakapagod, kaunti lang ang pasyente at kaka-check ko lang rin naman sa mga bata kanina. I'm relieved that all of them are doing fine.

"You have a lot of free time today, anak?" My dad asked as he sited in front of me. "Yes, papa, gladly I hate childrens when they're sick." He smiled at me and took his phone out from his pocket.

May kung ano siyang pinakita sa akin, at nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ang maraming bata ang sugatan mula sa gyera. "I know you can help them anak, me and the commander of this team are friends since college, I putted a lot of good words from you anak," He sigh.

"Want do you want me to do papa?" I asked him as I scrolling down to his phone to look at these poor childrens.

"Can you go there and help the childrens? You're a doctor, and you're a great help to them Jane, especially sa mga sugatang sundalo," He held my hands and looked at me. "Can you go there again, but not a child anymore, but a doctor.."

My past suddenly flashing back into my mind.

My mom and my dad is a doctor, my mom is a general surgeon, and my dad is a retired soldier and he become a doctor.

Nag volunteer silang dalawa ng mama ko para sa mga nasugatang sundalo at mga bata, they always told me how fortunate I am, and I should be grateful all the time, and base on what I saw. I'm really was.

I saw the little kids, they're all so bloody, so many bruises, scratches, and some of them are dead. I was traumatized. I was just 10 years old when the battle starts. But I'm not in their position, I'm from the city, and they're from the province.

A rich province property that someone wants to invade that's why the battle starts, and a lot of kids and soldiers sacrificing their life just to live in peace.

Now. I'm coming in back in there, but not as a child, but as a pledge doctor already.

The rain started to fall from the dark sky, all the kids and adults, and also some soldiers started to run out of their lives. But there's only one tough man who's slowly walking towards to the basement.

Sargeant First Class, Lee Dokyeom. But known as Sargent Seokmin, his field name.

"Sir! The volunteers, and doctors are here!" But he kept his face nonchalant. "Ok." He shortly replied.

His walks become faster as the rain pours hard in his body. His team mates saluted in him as the door of the truck opened and someone fall from the back.

"Ahhck!"

"Ayan tanga," Jeonghan mumbled as he laughed at Natalie na puno na ng putik ang tuhod.

"Shut up." Bago pa siya makatayo ay agad na may humawak sa siko niya at sapilitan siyang inangat. "You can't play in here miss, 'wag kang padalos-dalos." Sargeant seokmin seriously said.

Kumabog ng malakas ang dibdib niya at agad na tumungo sa takot. "S-So sorry Sir. I didn'—"

"Wala na umalis na," Jeonghan said from her back at bigla siyang tinarayan nito. "H-Hey! Bitbitin mo rin gamit ko," Pabulong na pero pasigaw na sabi niya.

Jeonghan ignored her. Jane's face lifted and saw the other soldiers blushing.

"H-Hi?" They faked coughed. And someone entered the conversation, he's build is so bigand scary, she believes that she is the highest rank in them.

"Miss, your cleavage is showing, please-.. Uhh you know, takpan mo.." He said before leaving all of them alone.

There's so much awkward between in them Jane just smiled and waved at the kids. At natakot ang mga bata sa kanya at nag takbuhan.

Akala siguro nila white lady ang nasa harapan nila dahil napaka puti niya.

She sigh and patted her knee to clean it. "Wow what a good rainy day to start."
