Y/n's pov:
It was about 10:45 when I heard a faint knock at the door. Oh it must be Andrew, he had texted me saying he'd be arriving soon.
I make my way to the door trying to fix myself up and making sure my house isn't a total mess. I open the door to see Andrew most likely telling Jonathan to behave.
"Hi Andrew! Hey there Jonathan." I smile. He first takes a glance at my face then to what i'm wearing. Shit i had totally forgot i was still in my pj's.
"Hey! I apologize if its a bit early but as you know i start work very early." He chuckles. "No its fine! Im usually up at this time." I lie. He smiles.
"Heres his bag with mostly everything you'd need. I also made you a little list of his eating schedule." He puts the list inside the bag and then hands it to me. "Behave alright kid?" He give's Jonathan a small kiss on the forehead before handing him to me.
"Call me if anything alright? And thanks this genuinely means a lot to me!" He smiles. "Oh no worry's i think i'll have everything under control! Do you know the exact time you'll be out?" I ask.
"Uh no I'll either message or call you though." He checks the time on his watch. "Oh alright! Well I guess you better be going so see you again later." I smile and he says softly. "Yes see you later Y/n."
Something about the way he says my name got something on me. I take a good look at Jonathan. He has dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, dark eyebrows. He doesn't look too identical to Andrew but at the same time their twins.
2hrs later
I had just put Jonathan to sleep when I received a message.
Andrew- Hey! I'll be out early today I'd say around 1:30!?
Me- Sounds good! He's asleep right now lol😭
Andrew- Wow how'd you do it? Naps aren't usually his thing.
Me- Fell asleep watching spider man;)
Andrew- of course he did. Well i gotta get back to work. Text you when im out!
Me- alrighttt.
I felt like a dry texter I just wasn't sure how to respond to him. The front door opens and mom walks in and immediately shows admiration for Jonathan.
"He looks adorable while sleeping!" Mom screams quietly. "He's all the cuter while awake." I say to mom. "Takes me back to when you were younger" mom smiles.
Jonathan slowly opens his eyes and almost immediately starts bawling his eyes out. "After I complemented you!? Dear oh dear." Mom says
"Shh shh shhh" I take Jonathan in my hands and try calming him down. I receive another message.
Andrew- I just came out i'll be there soon.
Me- well he's up now😭
Andrew- Let me guess, he's crying?
Me- yup! How'd you know😨
Andrew- I know my kid like that.
Me- 😭. He's not such a handful though. Maybe i do like kids
Andrew- He must like you. He has favorites i bet because he misbehaves with me. I am currently 2 blocks away from your house btw.
Me- well who knows maybe he does has favs👅
I've got to get his things packed up just knock;)
I secured everything back in his bag and managed to calm down Jonathan with some last minute Spiderman.
Just as I told him to knock, he did so. "Wonder who that could be" i said while picking up Jonathan and heading for the door.
"Well hey!" I hand over Jonathan and his bag. "Hey! See he's not crying now?" He laughs. "Yeah, im telling you spiderman is the key to calming down children!" I laugh.
"I guess so. I'll come again tomorrow around the same time I came today." I nod. "Just tell me if you ever can't watch him, if you're busy."
I start to have a nice conversation with Andrew but he eventually left and left me thinking about him all day. Oh what a plot twist my life is.
I ended up calling Taylor and telling her nothing about the situation but she's got herself a new airport crush. Things are going smooth for her.
I got ready for bed as usual and just wished it could be the next morning to get to see them both.
I was so desperately hoping he'd text but he didn't. So that obviously means i had too.
Me- whats up
Andrew- Me because Jonathan wont let me sleep.
Me- I guess he switches personalities with us both?
Andrew- Oh don't you get used to it😔 he'll soon open up to you just wait
Me- lmao hope he does tbh;)
Andrew- im honestly getting super tired now. I put on Spider-man for him and he's drifting off to sleep.
Me- yea same here. I also am drifting off to sleep by watching spiderman
Andrew- well im gonna gts, see you tomorrow Goodnight Y/n.
Me- Yea goodnight Andrew
*Andrew loved : Yea goodnight Andrew*
A smile crept into my face. And with that I drifted off to sleep in no time.
