It was do much to take in! And in such little time! North had explained as much as he could to the group, but it was still shocking. They didn't know what to say, or think.
After the gang had dinner and relaxed, or at least attempted to, Hiccup sat beside Toothless on the floor.
Why hadn't he known before? What did his mom know that he didn't? And what did North mean when he said that he would play an important roll. What was so special about him?
He continued to ponder there things, not knowing an answer for any. It was then Toothless gave a small grumble. Hiccup looked up to spot Anna.
"Oh hey..um.." He'd forgotten her name.
"Princess Anna" She finished, sitting beside him.
"Right. Sorry. I'm still getting used to the fact that I've just made friends with royalty, a talking Jack rabbit, a fat Russian man, a talking hybrid hummingbird, and a dead guy" Hiccup said.
Anna laughed. "Don't worry. I'm still adjusting to the fact I've made friends with a Viking and his Dragon."
Hiccup gave a small smirk, rubbing Toothless head. Anna shifted uncomfortably in the silence. Hiccup decided to break it.
"So....you sacrificed yourself for your sister? But came back to life because it was an act of true love?" He asked.
"Yep! It was pretty interesting" She replied cheerfully.
"What do you mean, "interesting?" Hiccup inquired.
She opened her mouth to speak, but stopped herself. "You'd never believe me."
"Hit me with your best shot" He challenged.
"Well, when I died, I remember waking up in this...really dark place. I didn't know where I was. But, I noticed something glowing in the dark. So, I walked towards it. It was a man."
"Who was he?"
"I don't know. He was glowing really brightly. Too bright to fully look at. All I know, is he said something in another language. I only got one word out of it. And that was, Valhalla. And suddenly, I woke up. And I was thawed out" She finished, pulling on her braids.
"Interesting" Hiccup said, thinking about what she said.
"Oh! And I later found this. I've never had it or seen it in all my life. But, it was on me after that whole incident" Anna said, holding up a necklace.
It was a necklace with a compass attached. Hiccup opened it and examined it. Nothing overly special about it. That as, until he noticed the symbol on the front.
"That's funny" He muttered.
"What is?" Anna asked, cocking her head to the side.
