I loaded my last steel arrow onto my hunting bow which I haven't taken very good care of I must admit, the forest at this time of the season in windhelm was bone rattling and very very cold. As a khajiit I didn't know much about hunting but every once and a while I would go into the icy forest to kill game to keep food on the table, I wasn't the richest person in the hold actually I am kind of poor you could say, the deer I have been tracking for a while had finally come to a stop and began to have a feast on some snowberries. I let go of the end of the arrow and crouched behind a tree in case it misses I wasn't the best shooter in skyrim but my shot had enough force to easily bring down a deer. The arrow pierced the deers leg causing it to collapse, "end of the line" I whispered to myself as I approached the wounded creature and slit its throat " saguine guide you" I bagged all the meat I could in about 10 minutes. As I walked towards the gate of windhelm they asked me for my name and if I was a citizen I guess they do it just in case an imperial spy tries to sneak in and kill Ulfric Stormcloak. You could say that windhelm is a peaceful hold except for the nords ranting and yelling at the dark elves for hours on end, and that arentino kid that keeps on chanting something called the black sacrament which is meant to summon the dark brotherhood. I approached my house that was an average house although I like my one in whiterun a strange man approached me I think he was an imperial but his eyes had a red glow to them, " hey are you alright buddy...." I asked quite curiously, as I finished my sentence the red in his eyes disappeared and he began talking " here is a note I was told to give you, your hands only and only open it in your house." I took a quick look at the note and when I looked up he 'disappeared ' I guess. I opened the door to my house and went into my bedroom and put the bag of deer meat onto my end table and sat on my bed on the front of the note there was a unusual symbol that I couldn't recognise.
