Chapter 4: Vampires!

*******P.O.V Si'rafe*******

The vampires eyes glistened reflecting the moonlight, the red glow would strike fear into anyone that has never seen one before but they were no surprise to me and Me'zerta. The group of dead bloodsuckers exited the shrubs and grew closer towards us I unsheathed my elven bow and Mez unsheathed her orcish sword we were ready for a fight, I was surprised to see one of the vampires was an Orc I guess me and Me'zerta had picked our first target.

The high elf vampire came running towards me at an extraordinary speed knocking me to my feet, the ground was quite spongy with the damp soil breaking my fall. "That all you got?" I questioned the vampires strength because they are meant to show no mercy.

"Only getting warmed up Cat!" He said quite pleased with the remark he made. Me'zerta was fighting the Orc and winning I never realised how good she was with a sword. I stood back up ready for the vampire, he ran towards me again but I managed to dodge out of the way, I dove forwards and ended with a forward roll to break my fall. I readied an arrow and was ready to fire, I released the end of the arrow and it went flying into than elfs' leg. Blood spurted everywhere as the more purple than red liquid poured out of the wound.

"Just getting ready hey? Well let's see how ready you are for this." I pulled out my ebony blade and raised it above my head ready for the killing blow. "See you in Sovengarde" I said calmly almost whispering it to the elf, blood spurted onto my face, a little revolting but you get used to it. One down one to go.

I joined Me'zerta and began slashing towards the Orc we were going to kill it in the slowest way possible, the Orc tried to attack me but I dodged as his blade barely missed my neck. Me'zerta saw this as an opportunity and sliced the head off the Orc. Poor guy.

Me'zerta was able to catch some fish on the way to her hut. Mostly salmon. Even kill a Skeever for dinner and some leek and snowberries for a soup she made as a kid. "Hey Rafe, we need to go somewhere tomorrow, so you need to rise early", Me'zerta said politely although I didn't know where we were going a think I need and adventure to ease off the poison.

******* P.O.V Me'zerta *******

I threw the last few ingredients of my skeever tail soup Rafe's favourite breakfast in Elswyr, pity I haven't seen him in years we still have so many things to talk about. "Hey Rafe you're awake", he rubbed his eyes and let out a slight purr, I poured the soup into a wooden bowl and gave it to him. "So where are we going today?", Rafe was always the most curious of all the kids. "A small hut near.... Falkreath" I voice breaking near the end I managed to say it without giving much away. He gave a small nod nearly unnoticeable, he had already finished his soup, I threw him his bow and a quiver of arrows and I knew we had to go.

3 hours later.....

We approached a large amount of marshlands and with that mud crabs, " we are nearly there, about five minutes." A small crab scuttled towards us ready to fight but we really didn't care we just wanted to get to the hut.

"Me'zerta is that the hut there?",Si'rafe pointed towards a small hut with a black hand mark on the front.

"Yes it is, but when we enter promise to listen", he gave a nod, he didn't really enjoy talking he was a get to the point type of guy. I opened the door letting Rafe enter first then I entered locking the door behind me. Two people lay dead on the floor, "Astrid, why did you kill them?"

"Well you were gone so long I had a bit of fun and I may or may not have killed them both.......With a bear trap." A smirk crossed Astrid's face she was always impatient and will kill for amusement, Rafe was still looking around dumbfounded. "Kidding, they are just contracts, the other two are over there."

"Before you ask, Si'rafe, you nave to kill one person that you think has a contract, ok?", Astrid spoke with a serious tone I should know how it feels to be in this situation because this is how I joined the brotherhood.
