Jazmine fanned her face,
"Please don't faint again", Huey actually looked worried.
"Oh Huey I...."

Jazmine's POV
I want to tell this man that it does matter because i am really into him, but I don't want it to be unrequited, he was holding my hand and I was melting.
"-I'm not", I find it embarrassing that he would say that, he should keep things to himself.
Just then I got a text but I didn't look.
Huey slowly released my hand and scratched his head.
"Most of our friend group is immature anyways". He blush a bit and turned his head.
"So Huey I guess I'll see you tomorrow at school, and you know I.... Umm.... I am really glad we're friends " I said kind of blushing.
That must have been the stupidest response I could say afterward. I just softly slapped my head.
"I.....l.....I. really appreciate your kindness dubious" Huey stated.
A guy with cornrows from a distance waved, most definitely Riley while shouting from across the street.
"Aye Punk ass Huey!... Granddad needs your help with the new Wi-Fi set up"
Huey just put his Thumbs Up towards his direction
"See...you at school tomorrow" he said and was on his way. The black straight leg jeans with a Malcom X graphic tee with the scent of Cedar-wood drove me into a traditional metaphysics that I couldn't escape.
While I was entering the door my parents were cooking dinner in the kitchen.
"Hey pumpkin! Are you ready for your first day as a senior tomorrow ?" Dad said wearing a kiss the chef apron that's so like him. Mom's apron was floral.
"Hey Jasmine Dear, how was your evening with Huey"?
How did she know I was with him? I mean I did used to hang out with him a lot when I was 10 and 11 but then mostly my friends were girls at 12. Puberty was annoying and Huey was distant. So since high school, we casually slowly started to hang out on days I don't have pep flag practice.
"How did you know I was with Huey?" I asked curiously.
"I saw you guys coming down the street from that hill, we're you cold you forget your jacket"? My mom retorted
"Jazmine nothing wrong with Hanging out with Huey, but I really prefer you guys hang out with a group" dad said always scared.
"Thanks mom but I was fine I had my mini hoodie and Dad really ? Huey isn't going to try anything with me if that's where you are addressing" might of been too late to state that in defense.
"He is a boy you know, 10 year old boys and 17 year old boys are totally different"
clearly.
"I just want to protect you from any boy mishaps and—"
I just ran over to hug him for reassurance I didn't want to get into deep opposition with him.
"Thanks, daddy for your support," I said while grabbing a biscuit and jetting to my room.
I pulled out my phone because I never saw who texted me..

TIA: hey girl you can't believe what I found in my albums.
TIA: Attachment: 2 images
TIA: You and Huey taking a shot and...
Jazmine turned her phone face down and hid her covers red-faced.
"Ahhhhhhh!"
"How did she ? Why did she and why did we?!"
Jasmine started to paint around and tear up and her parents called out because of the noises she made.
"Is everything okay sweetheart?" Tom called out.
She responded, while quickly replying and erasing her messages to Tia.
JAZMINE: WTH why did you take this?

TIA: idk probably was faded af, but you guys look happy, especially HUEY lol
TIA: Quit playing and just tell Huey how you feel Jaz, at this point you guys did like everything except say that you like each other.
Damn. This just confirms Hiro story Huey was saying (kind of...)
JAZMINE: TIA this can't be forwarded to nobody, not even Caesar. And don't think I don't know about you guys, I could say the same.
JAZMINE: So you did see me take Huey to my room?
TIA: No, but I'm sure y'all was doing something according to this picture. Haha and I'm going to tell Caesar when he tells me first hehe.
Tia isn't sure Caesar is into her yet since he is kind of flirty to a lot of people.
"Wth, Tia is lame for this" Jazmine locked her phone because she couldn't tell Huey about the picture yet.... And because they were returning to school tomorrow this was just going to add more drama. She wanted to tell Cindy so badly but Cindy would just tell Riley.

Huey POV
"I can't help but to think about all things I've could have said to Jazmine, It's jarring. I let irrationalism take over my judgment towards emotional maturity" Huey stated signing.
Huey didn't often listen to music on his iPod because he had music on his phone now.
He charged it up and happened to find a playlist Jazmine put together back when they were in the 6th grade, of course, it had all the girly songs on there because she told him he needed to be "open-minded, enlightened, and well-diversified with listening to various music"
Huey could care less. Mario Just a friend happens to shuffle and Huey, shuffled the song Like You by Bow Wow and Ciara played, and then Huey shuffles 7th time hoping to listen to some Black star, but why don't we fall in love by Amerie played.

Tomorrow ain't really what it seems"

"I can't avoid her! I'm going to text her.. I know it's late and we're returning back to school tomorrow" His Phone began to lit up.
HUEY: Hey Jaz Just want to remind you if you need a ride tomorrow be ready by 7:30 am
"No why would I send this she knows this...ugh, send"
3 mins later...
JAZMINE: okay thank you Huey
"At this point I'm just going to go to bed".
