A day off gone wrong

Crystal came over to Amy's house talking about the detective work. "Why would you put your life up to detective work. isn't it, odd?'crystal said confused. "Crystal please I do detective work cuz I am good at it plus I've got to employee of the month 20 times in a row so I don't see how I want to stop that's like a world record" Amy said being proud of herself. "Amy, the man can't even let you have a day off. you have to go to work again at 8:00. you stay there until 4:00 like, what's the point of that?" crystal said trying to prove a point. "Crystal you're not even proving a point I like doing detective work. I'm sorry if you don't." Amy said really mad. Crystals and Amy started to argue way too much Crystal had to leave because it began to be 8:00. Time to work really sad my friend had to leave. "You're late." The boss said. "Im not it's 8:0---"Amy said now looking at her phone. 8:01!!!"Amy said. "I want a day off please, my friend is mad at me because I'm not spending more time with her and she wants me to have at least a day off. please let me achieve that and I'll actually do better I'll give you two times more information. you can get to the police if you can promote me and if I can get 21 times and employee of the month." Amy still trying to bribe the boss. "Fine I'll do it. If you give me two times the information that you're going to get." The boss said. "Thank you! thank you so much."Amy said really pleased. Anyone back to the house and called Crystal over. "A: hey Crystal how are you doing? C: yeah I'm fine totally are you at work why are you calling me? A: chillax Crystal I'm just at my house right now. C: what is not even for 4:00 p.m. yet. A: that's because I asked if I can have a break. a day off actually and he said yeah. C: can I come over and see if you actually you're telling the truth? A: yeah of course come on." Amy then hung up in 10 minutes later Crystal was knocking on the door. Amy open the door and hugs Crystal. "You weren't lying about you not being at work that's cool!." Crystal said seeing the new amy and being impressed. This is the part where everything went wrong. Ring!!ring!! The Phone was now ringing Amy had to answer the phone. "Hello?" Amy said questioning who was on the phone. "It's me the boss you have to come back to work. we got new  information" the boss said on the phone. "What but my friend is at my house and I can't just tell her to get out she was waiting for me to be done work for a while!" Amy said really surprised. She had to tell Crystal about the bad news.
