"LINA GET UP ITS YOUR FIRST DAY OF JUNIOR YEAR!" I practically hear my mom yell as i hear the clicks of her heels come closer to where i was hibernating. Seriously?

I groaned and lifted the covers from my messy head, Revealing that it was 6:50. My eyes shot open and adrenaline rushed over me.

"FUCK!" I exclaimed as I shot up out of bed.

"Watch your mouth, Valentina or te voy a pegar!" (Or i'm going to hit you) My mom said as she gave me the sly eye and walked out. I sighed and walked in my bathroom, getting ready.

As i was brushing my hair, I heard my window shoot open and struggling getting in. I lost it when i heard a loud thud, which sounded exactly like Rue. I smiled to myself and walked to the frame.

"Rue!" I shouted and ran to her, climbing on her like a spider monkey. I was only 5"1 as Rue was around 5"11 (Correct me If i'm wrong Lmao) so it just made sense.

"How is my bestie Lina doing? How was camp?" Rue asked as she embraced me in the hug. I rolled my eyes at the thought of how i was humiliated by Nate Jacobs. I fucking hated his guts, and So did Rue.

"It was good, Just missed you the most" I kissed her cheek as she made a throwing up gesture.

"Okay i can smell your breath from a mile away get to brushing them" She giggled before plopping on my bed. I finish brushing my teeth and grab my clothes.

I grabbed a black long sleeve shirt with my new North Face vest with baggy black pants and my Vans.

"LINA" I hear my older brother,Aaron shout. Rue shoots up and looks at me then the door confused. I walked over to open to the door to a Tool looking brother.

"The fuck you want Aaron" He glazes over my bed and his eyes shot open, He barged in like a fucking caged animal.

"Hey man if you fucking touch my sis-" I look over as Rue sits up confusingly. Aaron looked taken aback, as he should with his dumbass.

"Yo my main fuckin man Rue" He laughs as he walks in and gives her a hand shake. She looked uncomfortable which made me giggle a bit. After, Aaron finally walked out and I look at Rue.

"So that was random" She said. I bursted out laughing.

"You should've seen the look on your face bro, It was priceless" I laughed. She rolled her eyes and pulled out something from her pocket.

Weed.

Weed was MY molly. Weed was everything, and has been there for me at my hardest times. Joints, Dabs, Blunts, Bongs, Pipes, I did it all. Whatever had THC had a happy me.

"Let's fucking do this" I smirked. She smirked back and we grabbed our bags, heading out. I grabbed perfume and some gum before leaving my room.

"Okay mom i'm leaving" I said as i walked towards the door fast.

"UN MOMENTO" (One moment) My mom yelled. I close my eyes and prayed to god she didn't sniff us out like last time. Long story short, Rue reeked of fucking weed.

Me and Rue walked to the kitchen, Watching mom cook eggs. She glanced over and looked me dead in the eyes then Rue. She studied Rue the most because you can easily tell when this fucking crackhead was on crack, literally.

"Okay, don't forget to say bye to your sister you know how she gets pues" She said going back to cooking eggs. I silently celebrated as i pretended to light a joint knowing I got away. Rue stopped so I took the hint mom was looking and I stopped.

"AMELIA, VALENTINA IS LEAVING" My mom shouted. I walked out the kitchen and into the living room waiting for Amelia to show up. She came down, Hair in a pony tail and her favorite Hello Kitty shirt on with a pink Tutu. She ran to me and i embraced her in a tight hug.

Amelia was one of the reasons I couldn't get lost in drugs. She was my everything, She made me a better person than I was before. She was like my own but obviously not. This little girl was my softest spot ever. But who hasn't been the bad guy before?

"I love you so much Lia you better listen to your teachers and always be kind" I said smothering her in kisses. She giggled and squirmed around before putting her down. She ran back to her room laughing.

"Okay, Vamanos!" I said as I walked out Fast.

"I love it when you talk Spanish to me" Rue joked before heading out.

- WALKING TO SCHOOL -

I hit the joint as I let it full fill my lungs. The smoke was horrid, but the high in 5 minutes wasn't. And i honestly couldn't be at school sober.

"So you excited?" I asked as I passed the Joint. The cold breeze hit my face, as I reminisced the way it would be the same somewhere perfect. Leaves crunching under our shoes.

"Honestly dude, No. I have totally lost hope in everything including this place like hell" She said before taking in a long inhale. I knew how hard it was for Rue since her dad passing. I was there to see it. Me and Rue grew up close so she's pretty much family to mine and i'm family to hers.

"I felt babe, I just don't want any problems with Nate" He was probably my biggest fear. Only because the guy was super fucking tall. Still a pussy to me though.

"What's your problem against him?" Rue asked. You fucking serious right now. I stopped and looked at Rue like she was insane.

"Okay okay I get it" She said continuing walking.

"But to be honest, I'm excited to see Maddy this year" I said as I licked my lips. The thought of her was exciting, But she's been with Nate. But man was she fucking sexy.

Maddy was just perfect to me. I think she's probably the only one I'd go gay for, but she wouldn't know that. She was a Latina goddess, and I wanted to get her around my finger but unfortunately, It won't happen.

"You're so fucking gay dude" Rue joked. I cracked a smile as we finally reached the Hell hole.

"Well, here goes nothing" Rue said.
