"Boss, she's here." I hear a muffled voice say. Someone picks me up bridal style. But I'm to tired to do anything and fall asleep. I haven't slept proper since my mom died.

__________

"She's hiding something from us." I hear a familiar voice say. "I just need to figure out what it is." I open my eyes, and a yawn escapes my mouth. I look around and see that I'm in a living room. Both arms and legs are tied to a chair. "Sleeping beauty is awake." It surprises me that I slept. At home I normally don't sleep, not like this. I usually wake up every other hour. It's even light outside.

"We had to change the plans due to the circumstances. But the attack was stupid, not well planned because I'm still alive." The boss says. He has three man standing behind him. "Someone tried to kill you?" I say more to myself than to him.

"Who even are you?" I ask looking up at him. "Wait, I haven't introduced myself yet? How rude of me." He grins. "I'm Gabriel." He sticks his hand out but I can't shake it because I'm tied up." "You have real trouble taking a man's hand, do you." I don't say anything but make sure not to break eye contact. I don't wanna come over as a weak or pathetic. Even though I'm failing miserably. "This is Mateo," he points to a man with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes "this is Nicolás," I look at the man and his eyes are dark brown, you can't even see his pupils making him more intimidating than he already is. His hair is black and he's covered in tattoos. They all are, except for Gabriel. Maybe he has them underneath his shirt? "And my brother, not by blood Tomás." He grabs the chestnut brown haired man by his neck and gives him a mocking slap on his shoulders. "And who is this?" Nicolás asks staring at me. I look at Gabriel who looks back with a threatening look. "Mía sir." I introduce myself. "She has manners, Gabriel, you're first ever hostage with manners." Nicolás says. Gabriel ignores his comment. I only now see that they all have a gun in their waistbands. I knew Gabriel had one but I'm tied up and four men are standing in front of me all having a gun.

"What are you going to do?" I ask fear taking over. "Well, Mía. I just got a call from one of my men. He said that your boyfriend still hasn't paid. He also said that he's furious that we took you."

Is it bad that I actually don't care? I don't care how bad Matías fucked up, I don't care that he's furious, and most of all I don't care that I'm supposed to be home right now, taking my punishment as I deserved. At this point I only care about my life. Not about anything that has to do with Matías.

"Mía, I hope you know by now how I work. I ask you something and you answer. And if you don't answer your going to wish you had." He grabs a knife from the countertop and plays with it while he walks towards me. He grabs a chair and sits down in front of me.

"What are you hiding?" He asks laying the cold iron of the knife flat on my leg but with not enough pressure to actually hurt me. "Nothing? You know everything about me?" I say confused. "Let me put it this way," he grabs the knife off my leg and traces the blade with his fingers. "On your little trip to my house my men discovered more bruises, on your legs and arms even on your throat."

He puts the blade on my leg. "So, Mía, how did you get those bruises? They can't be all from that man at the bar? Or did he beat you up? Because if he did you lied to me." He points the knife at me, not once breaking eye contact. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to but," Nicolás and Tomás are staring at me all of them with a smirk on there face. Gabriel looks at me, he's angry because I didn't tell him. I shut my eyes not wanting to see there faces. "Open your eyes Mía." At this point tears are streaming down my face, I just want to go home and sleep even though I can't sleep without waking up more than ten times a night.
