I slap my hands over my mouth to cover my scream. A body drops to the ground, blood dripping out of his head, eyes still open.
My body screams for me to leave but I just stand there, frozen in my spot. One of the men turns around. He probably heard my scream. I hear him shout something to the others. I snap out of my thoughts and start running. I just need to be safe. I hear an engine start but I don't look back. I keep running, as fast as my body allows me to. Ignoring all the pain I'm in.
I see a small alley were a car or motorcycle can't go trough. It's even small for me. Without thinking I go in it only to be followed by another man chasing after me by foot.
When I'm out of the small alley I start to take turns, to lefts to rights but when I walk around the corner I bump into a man, wearing all black. I walk backwards not breaking eye contact only to bump into someone's chest. "I think we have a witness." He grins
"Please, I didn't saw anything, I won't tell anyone. But please let me go, please!" I beg him but he just smirks at me. He throws me over his shoulder, my protests leaving him cold, and drags me to a black van. Why do they always have to be black with blinded windows? I thought this stuff only happened in movies. I see that the the two vans have turned in one and the body is gone. Even the blood.
This was a really bad idea. Guess karma is real. If I listened to him and stayed at the club this wouldn't have happened."Please, I'll do anything, just let me go." I try again. "You don't know what you're saying." He scoffs. Actually I do know what I'm saying. What could possibly be worse that what my dad or Matías have already done to me the past 15 years. I try to get out of his strong grip but he's to strong for me. "Let me go!" I shout wanting someone to hear me. But he just keeps walking. "Put me down." I try to say calmer but you can hear the fear in my voice.
He throws me without any mercy in the loading space making me fall hard. The events happening with Matías before are flushing back in my mind.
"HELP! HELP!" I scream but he kicks me in my stomach making me shut up.
"Call the boss and tell him that we have a witness." Again I try to get out but he's to strong and ties my hands and legs together. "When are you done trying and going to realize you don't have a change at all. It's five against one." His tone becomes more deadlier making me gulp.
"He doesn't want us to kill her. Maybe she can be useful to him." Another man says. It's dark outside and there aren't any streetlights so I can't see there faces. My only source of light is the moon.
"I'm not useful, I don't know anything that can be important for you or your boss." "If your not useful he'll kill you right away and if you are. He gets his information and then he'll kill you." The other man says. And before I know I feel a cloth against my mouth. A strong chemical scent goes through my nostrils, making me feel dizzy and light headed. "Good girl, just keep breathing." The man whispers in a low voice before everything goes black.
________
I wake up to a cold splash of water falling on me, making me yell. "Nothing like a good scare to wake you up, right?" I look at my dress which is now soaked and the man standing in front of me with a bucket in his hand. Lucky me Matías didn't want me to wear all white today. I wasn't practically sleeping but more dozing off. I'm so tired but I can't sleep with those guys around.
