CHAPTER 8

Hailey's POV

After I was done telling Myles how I felt, he looked so happy. I'm glad I said yes to the date but I was kinda confused because he said that he didn't really want to go any where today. But Myles said to dress casual. So right now I'm in my room by myself, Myles went home really fast to change and he said he needed to get something from his house. It's 1:15 and he left at 1:00. I got in the shower and started thinking I don't know why but I'm feeling kinda down. I mean I'm glad Myles is in my life, but it just seems too good to be true, I feel like he just feels bad for me. I got out of the shower and I went into my closet and got some light wash high waisted jeans and a white crop top with a donut on it and some white vans. I put them on and I went into the bathroom and I straightened my hair and put my makeup on. I put on foundation, liquid eyeliner, false eyelashes, and bronzer. I was done and it's now 2:05. I was just thinking about random stuff and my phone distracted me. I got a text it was from Myles.

M - are you ready yet ?
H - yeah I'm just waiting for you 😊
M - lol I'm here, come on 😋

I put on one more spray of perfume and went downstairs. Kalin and Alana were sitting on the couch and Kalin was showing her something on his phone. I don't know where Jazzy and Jake were but I heard them somewhere talking.
" bye guys I'm going out with Myles for a little. "
I explained before leaving. When I was about to close the door I heard Kalin begin to say " oh shit he really is about to ... " and I closed the door before I heard the rest. Myles was standing by the passenger door waiting for me. I walked over to him " you look nice" he said with a smile.
" thank you, you don't look too bad yourself." I replied. I gave him a hug and he opened the car door for me and I almost died he's such a gentleman. He closed it and jogged over to the drivers seat and he got in.
" how does ice cream sound?" He asked. " good of course, I love ice cream " I said as if that was the dumbest question ever. The drive only took about 5 minutes because I lived so close. When we got there Myles came around his Land Rover and opened the door for me. He helped me out of the car and we walked up to the ice cream shop and he opened the door for me again. I walked in a fell in love they had all kinds of ice cream. Me and Myles ended up getting the same thing. We both got a vanilla salted Carmel with chocolate chunks. He paid and we sat down and started eating, It was so good. We were sitting there talking for a good 30 minutes. Then I think he started getting the feeling that something was wrong because he asked " why do you look so upset?"
" I'm not ... " I quietly replied but I lied. " yes you are Hailey what's wrong?" Myles asked concerned.
" it's just, never mind it's stupid." I said. " no it's not " Myles said with hopeful eyes. " okay it's just that, this is all so crazy to me, Myles you are famous I'm just a regular girl, I'm ugly and fat. I feel like you just feel bad for me that's why you are doing all of this." I said. He looked at me like I was speaking a different language. " Hailey, don't even think that! You are so beautiful. You are the only girl that has EVER made me feel the way I feel about you, you are amazing. Just because I'm famous doesn't mean I'm just talking to you because I feel bad. You know what, I was gonna save this for later but I got you this bracelet. " he said and I was about to cry. He pulled out a silver bracelet that said "you're beautiful" on it. It was so perfect, he put it on my wrist and said lets go. He got back home and as soon as we walked in the door Kalin asked/yelled " DID YOU GIVE IT TO HER !? " and I was assuming he meant the bracelet so I showed it to him. He gave Myles a bro hug.

We got back from the ice cream shop at about 4:30 and it's now 7:00. I was in my room with Myles and the whole time we have been just talking and getting to know each other really really well. There was never an awkward moment. We like a lot of the same things. He's a really cool guy, I like him more than I thought I did.

It was getting pretty late and the boys had to go home. I was kinda sad he has to go I was really enjoying him being here. Before he was about to go downstairs I stopped him and I gave him a really big hug and said " Myles, thank you for the teddy bear and flowers that was really sweet of you and thank you for the ice cream, and the bracelet too, oh and I had a really good time today I'm glad you are in my life." He just looked at me and kissed my cheek as a you're welcome and opened my bedroom door and went down stairs. I followed him, Kalin and Jake said bye to Jazzy and Alana, Myles said bye to them too. Kalin and Jake gave me a hug and went to Myles Land Rover. Myles pulled me out side and said
