If you'd like to join our storytelling team and take part in this anthology, your story must obey the following rules. That's not to say they have to be the focal point of a story or even mentioned within, but they can't be contradicted...
- automated checkouts in supermarkets were never a consideration and have not, to this point, ever existed
- in 1989 Earth's gravity managed to capture two otherwise planet-killing space rocks, each roughly a third the size of the Moon we know and love, which means we now have three moons visible in our skies
- cloning of long-extinct creatures has been perfected
- other than pre-approved tracks, all music is illegal. There are, of course, underground "clubs" where non-approved music is listened to and performed at one's own risk
- gladiatorial-type combat is commonplace, and used as both a means of entertainment and often in place of war
