Emma slept restlessly after witnessing Regina alongside Ruby yet another night. The mysterious brunette entered into the space and exchanged conspiratorial glances with Rubes as Emma was finishing her dinner on her table. When the waitresses' shift was completed, they departed together. It was eating the blonde alive. She resisted admitting out loud the fact that she envied someone. No, not yet. However, she felt something in her chest once she observed Regina with someone that she couldn't quite identify. Regina sucked blood. She possessed a predatory nature. And to make matters most dire, Emma had no desire whatsoever to find out what she could accomplish with her magic crap.

But upon observing her with Ruby, sensing there was something going on... Well, that was not proper. Emma sought to be the only one with whom Regina went out. No, the lady is a vampire. She's not who you want! She made another attempt to persuade herself, however, the longer she was around Regina, the more she saw the Mayor, and the further she witnessed her alongside Ruby, the greater the challenge became to maintain her belief.

Throughout several weeks, their bond blossomed. The Mayor was laughing at Emma's quips while they were flirting, there were occasionally even little caresses. Which explains why she was so outraged about witnessing Ruby and the Mayor interacting. She thought -no, she anticipated, that this was precisely where they were heading: towards a genuine relationship, and perhaps even more so depending on whether she could get beyond the knowledge that Regina is a vampire. Emma would afterwards see the Mayor with the waitress notwithstanding the fact that she had been flirting with her all afternoon. The blonde simply was unable to comprehend it.

She opted to have a conversation with the brunette about it. She merely desired confirmation because it appeared to be a well-kept secret. In her dreams, Regina started to show up, and that was NOT fine. Emma DID NOT desire her. No, no, no. The disruption of this dream by Ruby the previous night was unquestionably NOT FINE .

While she awaited for the Mayor in her office, Emma commenced to chew on her fingernails. Since she was the sheriff's deputy and in good terms with the brunette, her assistant permitted her access. Regina held certain gatherings in the conference facility, however they ought to be finalized soon enough. At least that's what Ariel, the secretary, claimed.

Emma was searching her surroundings for any indications that Ruby and Regina might be dating. Pictures or anything, really. She was opposed to snoop around, though, and she wasn't able to see significantly a lot from the futon. That didn't represent the manner in which she behaved. She could do better than that. She made an effort to discover furthermore, but she still remained respectful of the Mayor's privilege of solitude.

Regina greeted her deputy as she went into her office. Addressing "Good morning, Emma."

Emma returned the gesture with a broad grin.

"What brings you here today? Would you favor a cup of coffee? "Regina enquired while holding refreshments at her side table.

Emma acknowledged, "Yeah, that would be lovely actually. I, ehm... need to talk with you... "

"Okay?" The brunette arched an eyebrow as she poured cappuccino into two mugs.

"It's not a significant issue! I certainly hope not, though. I mean, how do I even begin..." Regina turned around to observe Emma squirming as she continued to ramble. It kind of appealed to her. Emma's cheekbones were slightly colored pink, so she could tell that she was feeling apprehensive. She pondered the reason why this was occurring.

She positioned the mugs on the couch's table and seated down beside Emma, uttering, "Just tell me." She cocked her head and grinned at her with sympathy.
