Regina was able to unwind at last. Emma was no longer an insatiable lure. Unavoidably, she desired to take her and savour her once more. However, it wasn't killing her anymore. She was now solely concerned about whether she would be able to consistently quit drinking at the appropriate time. She was confident that she would be okay if she could get through the initial few times. Emma would be alright. It's not like she would become accustomed to drinking liquid bliss, but she would merely learn to restrain her cravings.

Several days passed since the initial bite and she wasn't given the opportunity to savor Emma once more. The vampire was, in some manner, gratified. She had confessed to Emma that she drank far more than she ought to. She feared the reaction but she clarified what a delight it tasted and precisely why it was so arduous to pull out. She provided further arguments as to why it shouldn't occur once more. Emma avoided doing what she was afraid she would do-tell her to depart and never reach out to her again. She appreciated Regina's candor. She was sympathetic. "I also don't wanna let go when I discover some new food that is beyond mouthwatering," she solely winked and grinned. Regina was frankly at ease. Yet she had to utilize Ruby once more, and she was conscious of the possibility that once her longing for Emma grew excessively firm, they would run into trouble once more.

Just recently, they had frequent meals together and enjoyed a couple of nights outdoors, yet they failed to pick up where they had left off. However, Regina wasn't inclined to think Emma was making an effort to avoid her. She left matters aside since she tended to have it right.

But eventually though, the vampire decided she'd had enough of waiting. Once she approached the Sheriff's Department, she was greeted by two bewildered faces gazing at her. "I suppose I needed to check something outside, I think. Emma, I'll see you later," Graham hastily announced.

Emma greeted her with a broad grin as she locked the door behind her.

Regina responded, "Em, hey." She hadn't actually intended to barge in in that manner. She was beginning to feel somewhat foolish now.

"What's on your mind?" Emma stood up from her table and approached Regina. She positioned both arms around the brunette's thighs while offering her a brief peck on those crimson red lips.

It wasn't frequently that the vampire would lose her voice as she muttered, "Uhm..."

"Hmmmm? It must be significant since you made Graham depart in a heartbeat by your demeanor," the blonde giggled.

Regina offered an apology lowering her head down. She sighed, "I guess I've simply missed you."

"Awww, you missed meeeee," Emma teased and the Mayor was prepared to fire back but the blonde silenced her with a smooching kiss.

She acknowledged, "I missed you too. So, Madame Mayor, what's on your mind? You are aware that there are now phones, right? I suppose you must be a product of a time when such a thing was unheard of..." Emma countered.

"It's never savvy to tease a woman about her age, Miss Swan! Particularly a vampire."

Emma chuckled, "Oh bite me."

Regina grinned, realizing that Emma was clearly not comprehending what she had said. "I might, dear," she stated.

"Shit!" she burst out laughing. "All right, let's get serious now. What's up?"

"Well, since you're asking... how about tomorrow night for dinner? Perhaps even a movie?"

"Friday night could be a movie night, right?"
