„Do you need any extra breaks during the lessons?" mr Yang asked me

My aunt called him yesterday and told him everything

„No, I just maybe take some more time to get to the classroom, since it's at the very top and I'm not supposed to take part in PE"

„Yes mrs lee already told me" he smiled at me

„If you need anything just tell me, we will help you through this" he said with a sad smile while he stroked my arm

I smiled back and bowed

I went to the very back of my class where my seat was

Everyone was already sat, since I arrived 5 minutes late, because of those fucking endless stairs

I was immediately attacked with questions from hyunjin and jisung, cause I forgot to text them back yesterday

„is it so hard to text back??" hyunjin asked me while holding my arm pretty tightly

„Relaxe you two, I was just skipping school, nothing more, nothing less, I forgot to text back, sorry"

„Eh?? Skipping school? You? And also, alone?"

„Ehhhm not exactly, my aunt took a day off of work and wanted to spend time with me" I smiled

„Just say that next time and don't ghost us you dickhead" jisung said while pouting

I laughed

The lesson begun and we joked around for a bit

„What were you and mr yang discussing this morning and why were you late?" hyunjin suddenly asked

„I didn't hear my alarm and he just said that this should not happen again" I shrugged

„But he looked...idk...sad?" hyunjin added

„hm I don't know why he looked sad hahah" I awkwardly laughed

Can he stop asking questions

Hyunjin just slowly nodded and took his attention back on his sheets

The lesson was over

And to be honest I was kinda scared, because now I have to walk down those endless stairs again

„hyunjin, ji, could we maybe spend our break on the roof top?" I asked because I would only need to go up one stair case

„you are such a lazy ass, it won't kill you to walk down the stairs plus I want to eat, I'm hungry and you know that chan changbin and Minho are waiting for us" jisung replied

I forgot that my friends are assholes

I let out a heavy breath

My friends will probably take it as a ‚I'm lazy and I hate to walk the stairs' breath because I used to hate to walk the stairs since the beginning of school

But for me it was a ‚i will need a fucking inhaler when I have to climb those stairs once again' breath

And I mean that

My doctor send me some more documents yesterday about what they found out so far about my disease

He said that my heart is beating very slow and it can't speed up as much as a normal heart, which means that if I get exhausted it could cause pain and huge exhaustion

He also said that his concern is, that he thinks my heart beat will get slower from day to day

He told me that, now it's not that much slower of a normal heart, but it's enough to make my life harder for me
