(20) Miracles Can Happen

Now that Yumi only has a few days before her due date, she is spending more time with the boys at her home.

One day while Yumi is laughing at a joke Jackson made, she feels something drip down her leg, when she looks down, she notices her water has break.

Noticing this the hyung line and Youngjae heads out to the van, while BamBam and Yugyeom get Yumi's hospital bag.

As Youngjae speed to the hospital, they get there in one piece without a ticket and Yumi gets checked in and into a room, where she gets an epidural.

Soon it was time for Yumi to push, and everyone except Youngjae, was told to go out and wait until after the birth.

After a few pushes the head was out, and soon the whole body was out.

The nurse gave Yumi the baby to have skin-to-skin contact for 45 minutes.

After the 45 minutes was up, the baby was cleaned and clothed.

After the nurse came back, the nurse asked the couple to name the baby.

"For his Korean name: Choi Daehan. And for his English name: Aiden Choi." Yumi says confidently.

The 6 GOT7 members finally are let in and they are in awe.

Jinyoung asks if he could hold DaeHan and Yumi hands Jinyoung the baby.

"Annyeong DaeHan-ah, I'm your uncle. Jinyoung coos at the baby.

After the members take turns holding DaeHan, the nurse gives him to Yumi so he could get breastfed.

After DaeHan's meal, Youngjae burps him and brings him to the baby ward, while Yumi rests.

It was the best day of their life.

Their son was born strong and healthy on August 18, 2022 at exactly 12:00 pm.
