"Good morning baby, I made y'all breakfast it's downstairs" I spoke leaning on the doorway to Riah room.

"Thank you, can you go get Korion up please?" She asked stretching.

"I already got him up he's brushing his teeth" I responded.

"Okay, thank you baby" she said leaning up to kiss me.

"You're welcome". I said.

She sat on the bed while we sat in a comfortable silence waiting for Korion.

"So how you feeling baby" I asked while she stared at the wall.

She didn't say anything so I asked again.

"I'm sorry baby I didn't hear you what you had said?" She questioned looking genuinely confused.

"I said how you feeling"

"I don't know" she muttered looking back at the wall.

"Whatchu mean you don't know? You don't wanna talk about it or you genuinely don't know?" I questioned walking to sit next to her.

"I don't wanna talk about it" she said while scooting over.

"Ri-" I was cut off by Korion walking in the room smiling.

"Morning!" He said cheerfully making me in Riah look at him in awe.

"Good morning son" we cooed at him.

"What we eat?" He said climbing on me kissing my cheek.

"I made breakfast come on" I said placing him down and walking out the room while they trailed behind me.

We ate and got dressed getting our day started.

I seen Corriah dressed in work clothes which confused me.

"Fuck you wearing?" I questioned looking over at her.

She ignored me putting her head down.

"Youn hear me taking ta you?" I questioned while my accent came out.

"I do I just. I don't know baby" she sighed running her fingers through her freshly pressed hair.

"You do know why you dressed like you going to work as if I didn't tell you call off?" I questioned walking closer to her making her back up into a wall.

"I- I just don't wanna miss work because it would be too late for me to call of an-" I cut off her rant by pulling her into a hug tha she desperately needed.

I rubbed her back while she cried. I said nothing. I just let her cry knowing that's what she needed.

"Let it out ma" I said soothingly pulling her to sit on my lap while I rubbed her back.

"I'm just trying to be strong for y'all. I can't do this I don't even know why I'm crying over her she don't deserve my tears" she spat standing up roughly wiping her face.

"Come on Riah, don't do that at the end of the day that was your mom so you're going to have some kind of feelings towards her death" I pulling her back into me.

"No" she said aggressively roughly pulling away from me.

I snatched her ass right back up "quit doing that goofy ass shit I'm trying to be here for you and you taking your anger out on me. Go lay the fuck down man" I spoke sternly lightly pushing her away from me.

She looked up at me with guilt before bursting out crying again.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I can't do this" she cried slightly shaking.

I am so glad my son sleep he don't need to see his mom like this.

"It's okay ma" I said sitting down pulling her on the floor with me.

She leaned her head back on my chest taking deep breaths.

"Come up out these clothes" I whispered in her ear making her squirm in my lap making me smirk.

"I'm not on that right now baby, we about to take a nap" I said lifting up off the floor helping her up.

She nodded and began to take her clothes off. I wasn't trying to get more turned on then I already was so I walked out going to check on Korion.

He was knocked out with his mouth open in the middle of his bed.

I chuckled going to take his shirt off knowing he sweat in his sleep.

I planned on having a family day like going to the arcade to cheer them up but shit we can stay home.

I walked back in Riah room seeing her in the bed sleep.

"Ain't no way her ass sleep that fast" I mumbled sliding behind her.

I eventually fell asleep too.
