Journal #6:

Welp. Guess I'm going to Beacon now. Damn Ozpin and his dirty tricks. For an old geezer he sure knows how to get what he wants. I heard a little bit about him from Cayde. Safe to say he didn't have the most... positive view of the headmaster. Didn't like being used as a weapon. I would say he was justified. It got him killed in the end. Ironwood wanted to take Cayde's robotic body in order to upload his mind for a seventh time, but me and Ozpin decided it was best to let the hunter rest. He had already done a lot for the people of Vale with little to nothing given to him in return. The least we could do is let him rest in peace.

Author POV

In the middle of the trip, Ozpin got a notification on his scroll.

Ozpin: Well, looks like there's another dust robbery not too far from us. Glynda, would you mind dealing with it before we continue on our journey?

Glynda: If I have to. You know I don't like using my semblance for clean up

Ozpin: If it's that much trouble then why don't we have our new student do the cleaning while you apprehend the criminals?

Y/N: Mc-fuckin-scuse me? Since when was I your personal janitor?

Ozpin: Since you joined my school. Consider this your first mission. You'll be shadowing Miss Goodwitch in a dust rob-

Y/N: I know the situation. I'm not deaf. I'll be your clean up crew if that means I can stop talking to you faster.

Glynda: Do you know how to show respect for 5 seconds?

Y/N: Not since he sent Cayde on a mission that got him killed.

Ozpin: You know that was not my intention

Y/N: Of course it wasn't. You just wanted someone who could do your dirty work when you were too lazy to do it yourself. You had all the information. You could've given it to anyone. The police. Other hunstmen. Hell, why didn't you send Qrow? He's good at getting into locations undetected. He could've been in and out of there no problem. But of course you send the one person who dared to stand against you on a mission you knew would cost him his life. Fuck this conversation. I'll see you down there Goodwitch.

And with that, Y/N vanished from the inside of the bullhead, presumably to the ground underneath. He would take walking over a bullhead ride with the man who got Cayde killed. It took him about 5 minutes before he saw the dust robbery in question. He saw a girl, no older than 16, fighting off a horde of goons with...

Y/N POV

Is that a fucking scythe? God damnit Qrow. Get your fucking family together. Maybe slap some sense into Tai for letting his daughter almost get herself killed. Guess I have to help now.

I jumped into action when I saw a goon try and hit little red in the back. He was immediately impaled through the stomach by a shadow spike. When everyone else looked at their fallen comrade, they grabbed their heads and dropped in fear as I gave them all nightmares. Tai's daughter, Ruby, looked at me in terror.

Ruby: Why did you kill him?! He didn't deserve death!

Y/N: Sorry red. That's how I roll.

Torchwick: Excuse me, who are you?
