It had been quite some busy few days for Shu considering the training was prioritised over all of their other the festival and responsibilities. His time was divided between his usual training routine that consisted of him going on an extended run before breakfast, finishing up a mission in his office area which he spent most of his days reviewing reports from various departments. He didn't have a massive amount of friends since he was normally isolated from the world in his palace , but he was able to keep in touch with people like Valt and Rantaro, who were always eager to help out when they could, even though his work as prince required him to stay in control of things. Valt was the type of person that would always say his friends are more important than anything else while Rantaro was someone that always believed that his best friends should be put first at all times. It wasn't unusual for these two to go away for long periods of time or to get lost when exploring the world and he didn't want to be a burden by asking them to look after him during this period of time. Besides, they both had their own families back home where Rantaro's father was a king and Valt's mother was a queen, so it would be difficult for them to find time to come visit. The festival was eventually coming to a close.

"The last song was so good Shu I'm gonna go request for another one." Valt grinned happily, already heading towards where the musicians were stationed outside. It hadn't taken much persuasion from Valt to convince Shu that they needed more songs, so many requests were sent out almost immediately. This was something that never happened in the past and yet Shu always found himself agreeing with the boy. "Hey blonde musician man can you sing another song I love your voice!" Valt asked cheerfully, waving around a note paper. The blonde smiled brightly and happily accepting the note.

"No problemo shooting star." He chuckled softly, nodding slightly as he took the paper. It would've been rude not to, and Valt looked really happy about asking. Even Rantaro had noticed how excited the young prince got whenever he heard the blonde sing. "The names Zac, Zac the Sunrise, so here is my autogra-"

"We don't need your autograph, especially since you sing like a drowning goat." A familiar voice spoke behind them causing them both to flinch slightly. They turned their heads to see Prince Lui standing with his arms crossed and an irritated expression. "I don't want to hear another one of your songs. Your mouth shouldn't even be that wide open."

Shu felt anger rising in his chest not beacuse of the insults thrown at zac, but of the past memories that hit him like a truck. His scar given to him by the one and only Lui Shirosagi an injury that not only scarred him physically but mentally as well. Lui's words rang through his ears making him feel disgusted, embarrassed in front of a crowed and laughed at by this tyrant of a prince.

"Oh and look who it is. Shu Kurenai how's the scar holding up." Lui sneered at Shu with a mocking tone. He grabbed his chin and pulled it upwards harshly, forcing Shu to meet his gaze. "That must hurt right? To think that the you have the right to the throne is disgraceful." Shu gritted his teeth together tempting himself not to cause a scene.

"Enough." A firm voice spoke monotonously. Both Shu and Lui snapped their attention to see Prince Free standing there with an unamused expression. Shu couldn't read anything on him besides dislike. "You will stop being so disrespectful and leave immediately before I take immediate action to remove you from this establishment."
