"It's been nearly 3 weeks and I haven't heard from Jisung, his phone is turned off. He can't still be healing?" I asked Hyunjin.

"I mean Y/n is back at work but I haven't seen him. Maybe she's hiding him, maybe he decided to give up on the whole thing." Hyunjin stated shrugging his shoulders.

"No he wouldn't. It's that girl, she got him under her wraps. She needs to be taken care off. Can I entrust you to take care off it. Get some officers on it and put her where she belongs."

"Shouldn't we first find out if Han is still staying at her place before we take such actions?" He asked me, he was right. I slammed my hand on my desk.

I let out a frustrated sigh. "Fine go check it out and then after you found it out, take immediate appropriate actions." He nodded and left.

Why did he have to abandon his mission now? He's used to deep cover. He loves doing it. Was this one to much? He has been in deep cover for over 5 years now.

Maybe it's finally getting to him, but he must finish the mission no matter what. No woman is going to stop that. I'll take care of her if I have too.

I warned you Jisung and you didn't head my warning. Now face the consequences.

"Hey Y/nnieee." Hyunjin shouted while entering your office. You chuckled at his behaviour. "Hey Jinnie." You greeted him as he took a seat at your couch that was seated in your office. You got off your office chair and walked towards the opposite couch and sat down.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?" You asked with a smile. He looked at you and smiled. "I haven't seen Jisung in a while, what happened to him?"

"Oh Jisung? Oh he's here, he's just staying out of sight for now. He's dealing with something but right now he should be in the lab with Minho and Changbin."

"Oh really, well I might go down then. I have something to talk to Jisung about." He said and got up. "okayy." You said and walked back to your desk to continue your work.

I walked down the hallway to take the elevator down to the lab. It seems only fair I give him a warning. I grabbed my phone and sent the go message to my team who happened to be on standby.

The elevator finally arrived at the lab and I got out. Minho, Changbin and Jisung were engaged in deep conversation.

"Jisung a word?" I asked clearing my voice to grab his attention. He looked at me and walked towards me. "Yes Hyunjin?"

I got closer to him and whispered in his ear "Be prepared to face the consequences of your actions. Although you won't be the one who gets scorned." I looked in his eyes before turning around and getting back in the elevator.

"Chan's pissed by the way." I looked at them all three there faces showed shock. I shrugged as the elevator closed.

"Shit how does he know Chan?" Minho asked and I shook my head. "I've no idea. He said something to me. He said prepare to face the consequences of your actions, although you won't be the one who'll be scorned."

"He must mean Y/n, there's no one else. You've been dating her for fucks sake. Chan knew so he'll definitely do something to get you to go back deep undercover."

"Shit that can't happen. I have to stop him."

"Correction we have to stop him. She's still our boss and friend."

"Let's go." Changbin said and they followed you up the stairs. We all ran as fast as we could upstairs, hoping we would make it.

A dozen police officers barged into your office and you looked at them confused. "What's the meaning of this?" You asked as they pointed their guns at you.

"Y/n you are under arrest for the murder of your father 7 years ago." Hyunjin said as he walked in and held a police badge in the air.

You look at him shocked. "You are a cop? Why did you work at my company then?" You raised your hands as you stood up and some officers came to handcuff you. You didn't protest as Hyunjin knew the complete truth. He probably recorded, so you're finally going to jail.

"It's nothing personal Y/n, I'm just following orders." He stated and you rolled your eyes. You were taken out of your office and the door of the stairs opened revealing Jisung, Changbin and Minho.

The officers saluted them. "Ex commander Seo, ex deputy chief Lee and special commander Han." The officers greeted.

Your heart shattered hearing this. Were they all involved in this plot even Jisung? Was he just in deep cover all along on both sides? You felt tears forming.

"What's the meaning off this?" Minho asked. "She's being apprehended for the murder of her father." One of them replied.

"Don't act like you don't know." You rolled your eyes. "Officer take me away, I don't wanna talk to them." The officer nodded and walked with you into the elevator. Once inside you hung your head low.

"Hyunjin what's the meaning of this?" Jisung yelled almost hitting him. "I'm just following orders." He said and showed his badge. "I'm special forces and was transferred to this station by request of the chief to be his right hand man. I'm good at deep cover." He said as everyone just stared at him.

"I told you Jisung, you should accept the consequences of your behaviour. You dropped your mission for her."

"What about you? Aren't you her best friend since childhood." Minho stated. "I was and am but this is still my job and I have to do it. It's the right choice anyways. She confessed the whole thing to me."

"And you abused something she told you in confidence Hyunjin. She trusted you and you broke that trust."

"Says the one who didn't even tell her he was a cop." He rolled his eyes and walked away. "She'll be at the precinct questioned by Chan before being locked up until a court hearing." He said as he entered the elevator.
