One and half year later

Shiva's Pov

"ennada packing mudinja" My flatmate suresh asked.

"almost done" I said filling my bag with clothes enough for 10 days.

"epdi da avan unaku 10 days leave sanction PAnna" suresh asked.

Suresh is my colleague, my friend as well as my flatmate. We rented this flat and staying here with another friend of us.

My phone started ringing....

Shruthi : anna

Me: yenna dei Anna, Anna va maritu.

Shruthi : anna 10 days kooda irupela. Eppovum pola 1 day la kezhamba matiye.

Me: *smiling * 10 days irupen ma. Kavala padatha.

Varsha : Nijamava anna.

Me: Nijama. Sari di phone vaikuren. Innum 3hrs kulla anga irupen.

Phone conversation ended

"ennada namma thangachi yaa." suresh asked.

"mmm" I replied.

"enna solra" suresh asked.

"10 days anga thaa irupiya illa one day la return aagiruviya nu keta" I said.

"avanga kekuradum correct thaa. Naalam Oor ku pona Extra rendu naazh leave poduven ana Nee Sunday mattum anga iruka pova adhuvum thangachinga illati amma romba ketukitta thaa adhuvum pova. So avanga kekuradum thappilla" suresh said.

"dei enna bus stand la drop pannu da" i asked.

"sari vaa polam" he said and he dropped me in the bus stand.

I sat on my seat and the bus started moving towards my hometown.

I stopped spending my time with my family, I don't even feel good to stay in my hometown after mithu left the place. All the places remind me of her. I know I'm hurting my family indirectly by distancing myself away from but if I didn't do it I'll go crazy.

But I never failed to visit Veeravel thatha and vaidehi paati whenever I visit them. I will ask about my mithu to them. They don't know anything about mithu and me. so they will talk about her casually. I miss her. I miss her a lot....

When will I meet you mithu? ...... Will I ever meet you?....

Mithuna's Pov

"vignesh kezhunga nu solren" amma whispered, loud enough that I can even hear that.

"appa amma enna sollanum ippo" I asked placing the magazine aside.

"mithu ma namma Oor thiruvizhaa varudu indha varusham Namma  adukaha India porom namma oorku" appa said. My heart started beating rapidly.

"naa varala pa enaku neraya work iruku" I tried to escape myself from the trip.

"enna work" appa asked with his arms crossed against his chest..

"Umm new assignments pa" I lied. Currently I don't have any assignments.

Appa didn't seem like he believed me.

"appa naa volunteer panitu iruka NGO works laa iruku. Mukkiyamaa Ryan kitta" My words went incomplete when appa interrupted me.

"neraya poi solra mithu. I'm not a fool. What's your problem. Yen india Pogalam na marukura. Nee first time India poitu vandadula irundu naanum unna anupuren nu solren But you are refusing it what's the problem mithu.... And NGO la nee mattum volunteer pannala. And don't bring Ryan as an excuse because this time he is joining us in the trip" appa said. My eyes widen in shock.
