My Story

First Day of School

I was ready to go to school. I put my purple Jansport backpack on and went downstairs to say bye to my family. 

"Bye everyone," I said. 

Everyone said bye and Hashna, the second youngest sister came to me. I was the youngest from all my siblings.

"Good luck. Also, have fun! I know you will do great!" She said. 

"Thanks." And with that I ran out making sure I didn’t miss my bus.

I sat in the back seat of the bus and soon enough Nya and Skylor came. Violet texted me and told me she was going to go with her other friends. 

The bus dropped us off to school and we got off. We had Advisory first because we needed our schedules. Luckily, I had Advisory with all my friends. 

We entered Mr.Charles classroom and he said we could sit wherever we want. Mr. Charles was the chill and funny teacher, so I think I am going to have a fun year. I decided to sit next to Nya and Skylor in a group of three. Violet was sitting in another group with her other friends.

We had chromebooks and papers that needed to be signed by our parents on our desks. Mr.Charles passed out our schedules and I looked. 

1st: Math: Mr.Charles 
2nd: Science/P.E: Ms. Michelle and Mr.B 
-Snack-
3rd: English: Mrs. Casey
4th: Social Studies: Ms.Marcko 
-Lunch-
Advisory: Mr.Charles 
Enrichment: Ms. Sills 

I had Science and P.E. as A day and B day. That meant that one day was Science and the other was P.E and it kept going. Today was a A day so that meant we had science.

Nya and Skylor had all their classes with me which was surprising. Bur, their enrichment was dance and so was Violet's. Violet had P.E and English with me. We had to go to first period, but that was our Advisory so we stayed in our spots. 

We just had to make name tags with four corners. One with our favorite food, favorite TV show, hobby, and where you would go for vacation. 

In first period I noticed a boy, he looked like Echo's twin brother. I found out by his name tag that his name was Zane Julien. Echo's name was Echo Julien so they must be twins. 

He had blonde hair and ice blue eyes. Whenever I looked at him I felt butterflies in my stomach. He looked really handsome. I just couldn't stop being distracted by his looks. 

"P.I.X.A.L? P.I.X.A.L?" Mr.Charles asked. 

"Huh..huh, yes?" I asked, looking at the teacher. 

This was so embarrassing. I blushed as I could see Zane chuckling silently at the corner of my eye. 

"I was asking what you wrote for your favorite TV show?" He asked. 

"Um…" I picked up my name tag and read off of it,"Lego Ninjago." 

"Oh really? Same here. I love that show, especially when I watch it with my wife and kids," Mr.Charles smiled. 

I smiled back at him and it was time for second period. The science building was in front of the middle school building so it was easy to get there. I went with the girls and our science teacher looked pretty old. Her vibes weren't the best so it wasn't my favorite class. 

We sat inside and we had the option to sit wherever we want again, so I sat next to Nya, Skylor, and Violet. 

In Science all we talked about was how A day and B days work and the daily routine. After that we had snack time and I brought some chips. 

Then we had English and we just went over expectations and how the class works. I found out that Mrs.Casey's husband worked here too. He was a 7th grade English teacher. 

After that I had to go to the fourth period which was Social Studies. All we did was view expectations and did a warm up in our social studies notebook. 

I was at a table of four at the corner. I sat next to a girl and another girl in front of me. The person sitting diagonally to me was…Zane! I had two classes with him. Wow! 

We didn't have lunch today, which is usually after fourth period, but we had the first three days of school as minimum days. So we get off at one o'clock. Usually we would get off at 2:40. 

Every Wednesday we have a minimum day. So we just go to advisory after fourth period. Nya, Skylor, and I went to an advisory. There was Echo and Violet. Whenever I looked at Echo I felt butterflies in my stomach. I had two crushes! This is a mess. 

In Advisory we just had fun. My sister, Jin, the oldest sister, decided to pick me up. I said bye to my friends and went in her car. 

"Hey Pix, how was school?" Jin asked. 

"It was really fun! I had all my classes with Nya and Skylor and I had two classes with Violet. I also have two crushes and they are twins! Twins! My first crush that I like better is Zane and the other one's name is Echo," I took a deep breath. 

"Wow, make sure not to tell Father about that because he can start being overprotective," Jin said. 

"I won't," I said. 

I hopped off the car and ran in the house. This was the best day of my life. I ran upstairs and dropped my backpack in my room. I jumped on my bed and started texting my friends.

Sorry for posting so late. The internet went out because of the weather. But, here I am posting! I might post the next chapter in a long while, but I'm not sure. We had a three day weekend because of MLK's day. So, I have to go to school tomorrow because its Tuesday tomorrow and yeah. Thanks for keeping up with me and this book is probably boring from the start, but it's going to get interesting.
