WOOHOO!!
Hello everyone! My name is Tori, i'm 17, go by she/her and they/them pronouns- and I want YOU for my Omori voice acting/dub server! That's right! Im seeking out passionate peoples who would be interested in doing some dubs and voice acting for Omori!
Now what does that mean? That means that i'll be making a discord server to do dubbing and voice acting for Omori! Of course this leads to some more questions, which I think most we'll figure out along the way. Although to answer a few, here we go;

*How will roles be created and chosen?
This is sort of a complicated question but most importantly it should be able to fit the character. HOWEVER! We are also here to have fun. If a voice doesn't fit 100 percent, thats completely fine! We are not professionals, i'm not a professional, and we're here to have a good time acting for a game we all enjoy! So here's the idea;
I would create a simple audition process to choose for characters! Once a role is occupied, its occupied unless there is an understudy available, or the person that previously held the role no longer wants to act for that character thus making it available once again.
Who would be evaluating the auditions? Well I suppose that leads to my next question i'd like to answer.

*How will the server be run?
The server will be run using discord! Using discord, I will choose a selection of around 5 people to be a sort of council and voice their opinions on who may best suit a role! If a council member themself wants to try for a role they will be subject to the same judgement anyone else would. These people in the council will gain the role of voice directors! These are different than moderators! Moderator applications are completely separate from voice directors.

Now for the not so big questions...
How would auditions be done?
I would suggest that we use a basic voice recording software on your phone or computer and record yourself doing a few lines of the character for a audition! This of course means that you'll need a decent microphone.

Requirements to join the server:
•Out of safety for you, and to respect discords community guidelines, I ask that you only join if you're above or the age of 13. I don't say this to be crummy but I think it's public known knowledge that there's lots of creeps on discord, even if those creeps may not be on this server. Your age however, is private and your info! Don't share it with people you don't feel comfortable with. (No that does NOT mean join if you are 12...)

•Knowledge of tone tags!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MINI LESSONS WITH TORI 1.1 :
WHAT ARE TONE TAGS?
Tone tags are acronyms used to indicate the tone of a sentence or phrase said prior to the acronym!
For instance...
I am beginning to turn into a marketable plushie, OH NO!! /j /lh
You will notice I put 2 acronyms at the end of the sentence, (/j, /lh).
What do these mean? Well!
/j = Joking/joke/jokingly
/lh = Lighthearted
There are many more tone tags out there such as..
As a note, I better not see ANYONE using the (/sx) tone tag in this server. Please don't, that will make people uncomfortable! /srs
Why use tone tags to begin with?
I have a few reasons to that!
-Tone tags help declare the tone and thus the intention of a message and how it should be read! This helps clear up misunderstandings in messages with technology.
-It also keeps everyone on the same page.
-It also helps people who are neurodivergent feel more comfortable knowing that what they are saying is coming off correctly, and also help what they read to be interpreted correctly. For instance, if someone said that they hated themselves, that could be taken multiple ways (sarcastically, seriously, jokingly..) which can cause a-lot of confusion for people and in some cases harmful to people's moods and mental health.
*This conclude's Tori's mini lesson 1-1. This is also why it is REQUIRED that you know what tone tags are before joining the server! Please do not take that lightly.
•Next up, it's required that you have a decent/good microphone! Phone microphones are fine in this case! Also, if you are in an area where there are 5 below's, they have microphones that can connect into your phone (iphone users, you'll need a seperate adapter to make it work since it operates using a headphone jack). My reasoning for this is audio quality! Nothing more, nothing less.
•Finally, a respectful attitude! Hopefully we all know how to be respectful to each other. The only reason I mention this is because i'm aware of how many times feelings get hurt on servers like this, especially with audition processes and the such. No, don't call another persons audition crap and say that yours is better suited for the role cause a, b, and c. This is for fun! Don't go ruining someone else's day cause you want to boost your own ego. If I see bullying on the server, I will not hesitate to ban you.
Thats all for requirements! The following chapters will be dedicated to specific assets of the server such as recording, moderators, voice directing, and the such. Once and if we get the server up and running, i'll try to double update announcements into this book! Thanks for reading and I look forward to seeing you there! 👋
