I was getting ready for school,.i want to study as much as i can to help my uncle, hes sick

Hes a strong sorceror. He's always looked after me, and taught me almost all of his spells, he goes to the human world sometimes. Ive asked what he does there but he never tells me.

But thats ok, my goal is to heal my uncle. And nothing will stop me.

I was in waiting for luz, shes a human who came to this world out of no where and magically became the silver gaurd. I'm the golden gaurd, the right hand of empress eda. My goal is to help her find a cure to her curse, weve tried almost everything but she says the cure for her curse is in the human realm and since luz came from the human realm she said she would gladly help us.

I dont trust her at all. And I hate the fact that shes the silver gaurd. She became the left hand of eda overnight. And I became the golden gaurd, her right hand in how many years? Longer than luz of course.

But weve been trying to track a human who's lived longer than luz in the boiling isles.

Hes called the palisman hoarder

He can do spells like a normal sorcerer but hes human, only he can find a cure or atleast lead us to the human realm. But he runs away alot and has changed his name many times but I heard his name was belos but eda said that she would deal with him and that we shouldnt interfere.

And I respected her.

I was sent on a mission where I'm supposed to go to some island and slay a selkidomus. What a drag right?!

I just hope I can get over it and get a better task. I want to show empress eda, the owl empress how I'm better than luz. I want to show her I'm better than her and I will do anything and I mean anything for her.

Because nothing will stop me

HUNTERS POV

I went bounty hunting for my uncle, after his last encounter with the empress hes been feeling worse. So he cant go to the human realm as much, so no human treasures can bring food to the table this time. So here I am on a ship going to slay a selkidomus. Cool right?!

King came with me to keep me company, kings my only friend at the moment but I will make a new one,     soon.

Suddenly our ship gets attacked, I called for flapjack, and I was going to chase who ever thought it was a good idea to rob us.

Once I reached the island i see a guy standing by himself with the gold.

I quickly push him down and it was my uncle...

Uncle belos?

What are you doing here? I ask

Oh hunter I uh, I just.

I knew what my uncle was going to say, he always cared about us. He always tried everything he could to keep us happy and he says he doesn't mind being a bad guy for it he didnt care if the world saw him as a criminal as long as we were okay.

I sighed, It's ok uncle I get it. I say as I get off I apologized but then I looked around for king thinking he was standing next to me.

Wait wheres king? I ask

Well right here! Someone said

I turn around and some figure was on theyre staff they were holding what looked like a cage. Was king in there?

Well you sure seem like formidable pawns right?

They say

Let's see, hmmm. if one of you doesnt go to slay the selkidomus I'll drown this rat.

Sooooo how about you go now?

They sounded like a girl?

I look at the uniform they had, it was the golden gaurd. I had seen alot of posters about them. But who wouldve thought I'd meet them here.

But This person was infuriating. The audacity to ask such thing.

Yes you! I shout

Why ask us to do your dirty work?!

Let's see maybe because your poor uncles weak and of course I'm too kind hearted to make an old man do my dirty work so I chose his loser nephew And becuase your weak like him and the rat will drown.

I was starting to get annoyed

I grab my staff and look at her

I teleport right behind her but they turn around and dodge my staff. It was a fight between the golden gaurd and me.

I was pretty good at fighting but you could tell the golden gaurd trained so it was hard to fight her.

So who are you?

I've never seen you before.
And with the palisman hoarder?

What are you, his apprentice?

Is it true he hoards palismen to eat them? If so ew.

You should be in school or something. Isnt that What a normal teenager should do?

So tell me what are you doing here with the palisman hoarder.

None of your business, it doesnt concern you, so maybe give me king back and go away!

I hit her arm, but they tripped me.

Well your quite the patient one arent you.

She powers her staff up. It had no palisman. It looked artificial.

She pointed the staff towards me.

She looks at my uncle, lets see. She says

Belos was it? Since your nephew is so unwilling to help me out how about this?

If you don't go and slay the selkidomus for me, I'll arrest you and take you to empress eda and I'll arrest blondie. And drown the rat, so what'll it be?

Wait uncle dont, I can handle this i-

She points her staff closer to me.

I look at my uncle.

"I'll do what you want but leave my nephew and king alone. Got that?"

I look at the golden gaurd.

Oh dont worry, I wont hurt the rat, or blondie.
