Blondie kinda spaced out for a moment there, i laughed a bit. He looked dumb

Y/n why are those books restricted? He asked

I look at blondie, and think for a moment.

That question caught me off guard, I sigh

Well empress eda used to be a wild witch autually she did all types of magic she was the strongest of the isles and still is but, wild magic cursed her and i wont tell you what her curse is but theres no cure for it apparently.

So she invented the coven systen so no one gets cursed she's a hero to everyone and she should be.

And what made you want to join?

I paused for a minute and started thinking, why did i want to join? Its not like i had a choice but im not really sure.

I look at blondie as i was thinking.

To be honest hunter,  Its not like i had a choice or anything and i am a part of her family and she would never do anything to hurt me or anyone but i want to see where i fit. Where the puzzle piece goes, but what i really want? Hmm i dont know.

Im not sure but I'll be whatever feels right to me.

I smile, i guess the golden gaurd isnt what they seem, i see the palisman from before get out of my bag. They flew to y/n and landed on her head.

Y/n pov

I look at the palisman, it was a

It certainly looked cute i thought i dont think ive seen a palismenlike this one...

I slighyly pet it maybe this guy isnt so bad, i hear sonething in the distance i see willow and luz board the ship.

I look at hunter, its time to go. I say

He nodded.

Plan A is in action now.

Luz's pov

Uhh willow are you sure you havent seen y/- uh the golden gaurd at all?

" yes im certain luz she mustve found a coven base and headed back to the empress, she never finishes her jobs does she."

Haha uh im not sure about that but, what about the palisman witches apprentice?

I saw him on the same ship as the golden gaurd.

" i turn to look at luz, well its better for the empress he only stood in the way, now we can get the palisman witch but that'll be another day, for the empress."

Oh, right well lets just head back to the empress i have so many things to tell her about, OH! you know the abomination head coven witch, amity?!

Shes so cool i want to talk to her and i heard that your good friends with her sooooo.

" whatever rumor you heard that from is absurd now get on the ship luz were going to the empress and we can celebrate my victory who knows, maybe I'll end up being not just your best friend but the new golden guard. "

I laugh to myself,

y/n wont be so lucky this time.

Hunters pov

I see the silver guard and the witch that attacked us board there ship, i look over at y/n to see her putting her maks on.

I guess the plan was starting already, i see flapjack giving us the signal the ship was going to leave, i pull my mask on.

We both stood next to each side of the glyph but before we could activate it i look at y/n and give her staff back.

Y/n's pov

I see blondie give me my staff back, "thanks" i nod at him, signaling the start of our plan.

We both hit the glyph and the sleeping meddles started there work creating the sleepy mist or whatever.

We both get on our staffs and fly behind the ship hoping willow gets either knocked out or just starts feeling drowsy enough to land.

I look over at hunter, i smile to myself. What a dummie, he never shouldve given me my staff back, im taking the palismen to the empress and maybe I'll deal with him while im at it.

Nothings stopping me now.
