Hunters POV

I was at school, I was out in the field and everyone was getting a parliamen today. Like a parliamen adoption thing,

I already had a palismen.

He was passed down to me by my uncle. Flapjack

But I always wondered. Was flapjack really my palismen or was it my uncles?

Flap jack was with my uncle the longest.

He was only passed down to me because it would protect me and stuff, so I came here because I wondered if a palismen would choose me.

I love flap jack of course! But I wanted something of my own to.

Once everyone had a palismen it was my turn.

Ok palismen, prepare yourself! Cause hunters here.

NO PALISMEN NO NOTHING.

That's ok, I thought.

I look at flapjack, but he turns away in dissapointment.

NO FLAPJACK I WASNT LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT.

He pulled my hair strand, I guess I deserved it.

Well it's nice having flapjack as a companion though.

I wouldn't plan on looking for another partner.

I had a mission today and I was paired up with luz. She was so annoying. I had no idea about what she ranted about most of the time.

Something about a witch named Luzura or about how cool the abomination coven head was.

I didn't care at the moment.

Luz, were supposed to be stealthy about this.

NOT AS LOUD AS YOU WANT.

Sure sure I know, it's just I'm excited! My first mission with you. Isn't that cool.

Were supposed to find some palismen ok? Wanna be useful in this mission then help me find a palismen.

Ok! What does eda need a palismen for anyway?

Oh ok, I heard they had a palismen adoption thing in hexside. A whole nest right?

Good thinking luz, guess were going to hexside.

Hah I just got a compliment from my favorite friend.

I wouldn't say a compliment but cool.

Now that I knew just where to get palismen. I couldn't let eda down, imagine a whole nest of palismen when she she only wanted a few.

Hunters POV

I got home, and I threw my bag on my bed when I heard something come from it.

I lean over it to open the bag, a palismen?

It was a p/a (palismen animal thingy)

D-DID YOU CHOOSE ME? I looked at it waiting for it to turn into a staff but nothing happened.

I sigh in disappointment, I guess you just wanted to leave huh.

I picked it up and put it back in the satchel, I'll take you back let's go.

I had gotten back to hexside. I made sure no one saw me, after all I didn't want them to think I stole the palismen or anything.

It was surrounded with a yellow like dome.

I couldn't really get through it.

Suddenly flapjack flew down and bonked its head onto it, and suddenly it disappeared.

Wow cool, I said.

I went inside and saw a lot of palismen there.

I looked back at the palismen that had followed me home.

Y'know you remind me of someone, Wierd.

I was about to go but when I looked back. They were too cute to leave behind, I decided to stay just for a bit.

I mean what could happen?

I had woken up because someone was shaking the nest.

Just a few more minutes uncle...

Suddenly I hit the wall and I wake up, who ever is trying to steal the nest is doing a bad job.

I open the door to see one of yhe empress'es ships.

What's one of those doing here?

I grab flapjack and fly over to the ship.

And what I saw kinda surprised me.

It was the silver guard and the golden guard.

They were fighting? Over the wheel?

HANDS OFF LUZ!

CMON LET ME DRIVE

ARE YOU LEADING THE MISSION? NO I DONT THINK SO.

y/n's pov

Luz had been wanting to drive the ship for a while now and I kept telling her to wait and she got impatient and started fighting for the wheel.

I was about to shove her when I hear a familiar voice.

Hello fellow guards. Dont move and just do what i say cause what's about to happen should be relatively painless.

I turn around, wellll if it isn't blondie.
