The evening was slowly coming to the large and well known kingdom known as Kings Landing, a couple of hours having gone by since the incident in the throne room. The sun was beginning to set, the weather still not the greatest after the rainstorm they had gotten the night before.

As per usual, Red Keep stood tall and proud with the servants and guards being seen walking around inside as they did their jobs, the same jobs they did almost everyday. The royal family could also be seen, the members doing their own things before they'd have to join each other for dinner later on.

On the training grounds, maids could be seen walking around, doing their jobs as they bowed their heads to the princess. With her hands clasped, Y/n kept her head held high, ignoring the stares of the people on the training grounds. A certain prince could be seen training like usual, not noticing a certain pair of eyes on him.

Tearing her gaze off Aemond, Y/n found herself moving to the weapons as she looks at them. Just feet away, her brothers could be seen trying to train together with swords in their hands. She couldn't help but remember the times she'd sit and watch her brothers and uncles when they were younger.

"What are you doing?" A voice calls from behind her.

The brunette princess felt herself tense, a sharp inhale escaping her after hearing the familiar voice. Placing one of the weapons she had grabbed back down, she slowly turns around to see Aemond standing there now with a slight smirk on his face. However, that smirk changed into a small smile when they made eye contact. The Targaryen prince stepped forward, closing the slight gap that was in between their bodies as he didn't break his eyes away from her own.

"What are you doing?" Aemond repeats.

Y/n shrugs, glancing around the grounds. "I was just observing. I haven't been here in a long time."

"You haven't." Aemond agrees with a nod.

"Would you care for a walk?" Y/n asks.

The prince only shakes his head, placing the sword he had been training with down before he held out his arm. With a small smile, Y/n links her arm with his as they walk off the training grounds, passing Jacaerys and Lucerys along the way. The older brother clenches his jaw at the sight, confusion flowing through him. There was some time that passed as the two walked together, their arms continued to be linked together as they found themselves walking around the castle, catching up with each other.

"You've changed a lot." Aemond points out.

Y/n raises a brow, glancing up at him. "I've grown, Aemond."

"Trust me, I know." Aemond replies.

There was a moment of silence as he found himself looking her up and down, something that made her stomach do flips. As they stopped at a balcony, facing one another, Y/n couldn't help but frown when her gaze casted to the eyepatch covering his left eye, an all too familiar scar indented into his skin. Aemond noticed her frown as she looked down at her feet, to which he cupped her chin to make her look at him, realization of what she was thinking about coming to it.
