ONE- In the Beginning

UPON THE FOREST floor so woven with ancient tree roots came a light filtered by the bouquet of foliage above: softened, verdant and freshly aromatic.
The animals move through the forest in their gentle way, as if they were one creature with tall trees and rain-soaked soil. The melody of nature filling the atmosphere, a peaceful essence spreading around the forest of Pandora. Animals grazed, soft clicks and animalistic hums echoed through the forest, the muscle of strong palulukan legs running to avoid tree roots, pa'li licking the nectar out of plants, their six legs caressing the earth below them, as they lazily traveld in packs.

Amid the forest floor, a golden light warms the infant's blue skin, shining brightly through tree-filtered air with an aroma both pure and earthen, large, golden eyes staring at the wonder that is pandora around them, limbs uncontrollably kicking about as the infant smiled, canines not yet grown through. With the soft atmosphere came a foreign snap, and the sounds of the forest came to an end, leaving behind an eerie absence in its place. The Child stirred, bottom blue lip wobbling at the unexpected change as a loud wail climbed its way out of the Na' vis's throat, successfully disturbing the already uneasy environment.

"Tonowari, look." a female's voice softly gasped, large curious blue eyes taking in the infant that lay on the grass. Observing the salty tears that steadily found themselves home in dampening the forest floor

"By Eywa." Tonowari blinked, his eyes taking in the
darker blue infant as its limbs continued to aggressively move about.

Pushing aside a plant, the mated pair were quick to
Take action, Ronal crouching down to pick the child up from the dampening grass, and into her arms. The task was soon proven difficult, as Ronal's larger stomach affected the way she wanted to hold the infant, so rather, she stood up, hands rubbing the infant's back as Tonowarni stood behind her, hoping that his attempts at soothing the child with his voice were working in their favour.

The child soon grew quiet, ear piercing cry's coming to an end as its golden eyes took in the unfamiliar faces. Chubby hands clumsily grabbed at Ronals chin, eyes dilated as they fixated on the tattoos that littered her skin.

Tonowari softly laughed as he saw the smile his mate gave the child at the action, the child's tail swaying as they cooed at the markings.

"She will make a fine warrior one day." The Olo'eyktan stated. Ronal smiled, her ears twitching as she continued to bounce the child.

"How do you know?" Ronal questioned her mate, taking in the way Tonowari's eyed the child.

"Other than the fact she just admired your tattoos? I can feel it." he hesitated, glancing about their surroundings. It didn't go unnoticed that there were no Na'vi in sight.

"Omaticaya clan live days away from here." he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he glanced down at the child that lay cooing in his mates arms, reality quick to become of him.
