Lizzy Johnson is seen as the girl with the perfect parents, perfect house, perfect clothes, perfect boyfriend and perfect life. In reality, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Her boyfriend isn't the sweet quarterback he makes himself out to be...
"She was either wildly naive or dangerously intelligent."

"Hey Xav why did the boy eat his homework?" I ask, grabbing onto the swing handles while swinging.
"I dunno. Why?" He responds narrowing his eyes.
"Because his teacher said it was a piece of cake!" I smile.
My best friend laughs, as we continue swinging.
"I'm hungry." I state.
"Wanna go home?" Xavier asks.
"My mommy and daddy aren't home." I shrug.
"My mom is, let's go." He jumps off the swing.
"Okay. I need help though." I say, gesturing to my moving swing.
He nods, shaking his head before stopping my swing for me. "Thanks."
"Yeah yeah."
"Wow the sun is out." I mumble as we walk away from the park.
"Yes Lizzy," He says, grabbing my hand and interlocking it with his.
"Wanna go see Alice?" He asks, casually.
"Everyone is over there," He adds, referring to our friends.
"Okay." I nod, as we walk to the Hendrixs' house. We all live in the same neighborhood but this one house is the biggest. We hang out there a lot because Alice's parents are nice to us.
"Hey Lizzy. Why did the doctor take a red pen to work?" Xavier asks, as we walk towards the Hendrix's house.
"Hmm why?" I ask, looking up at him.
Even though we're both seven, he just so happens to be way taller than me. But it's okay, because I'm still smarter.
"I'm case she wanted to draw blood." He smiles, his dimples appearing on his cheeks.
I laugh as we walk into their driveway.
Alice runs out, her blonde pigtails moving as she runs towards us. "I am so happy you're here. Jayden just pulled the head off my doll, and I need to get revenge." She sighs, shaking her head. "Can you believe he would do such a thing?" She turns to Xavier.
"I can believe that he would," Xavier says, honestly.
"Come on." Alice says, grabbing our hands and pulling us inside.
