They both started to walk towards the van.
Suddenly Jarena spoke up - "um Joseph, wanna grab a cup of coffee? it helps to boost energy".
"Sounds good to me" - said, Joseph.
Jarena - "OKAY I'll go and get it".
Joseph - "okay go, I'll wait outside".
Jarena -"okay".
A few minutes later she returns with 2 cups of coffee in her hand. She hands 1 cup to Joseph. "You were fast than I expected"- said Joseph. Jarena-"oh is it?" *takes a sip*. Joseph laughs. "why are you laughing?"-Jarena. "no reason"- Joseph. They started talking.
Suddenly someone interrupted-"um...guys, I think we should hurry, we also need to get back".It is Tim. (Tim is a colleague and a friend of Jarena, but he is on a lower post). "what? you are also going?" - Jarena. Tim- "yes, I always go to deliver gods, as a helping hand". "I see"- said both Joseph and Jarena. (Tim got shocked by their reaction). Joseph- "Now hurry up guys.". 3 of them started to walk towards the van.
"Get in guys"- Joseph. 3 of them sat together. Jarena sat beside the window. Joseph started the engine. "sit tight guys"- Joseph. They started their journey to Tangail at 11:36 pm. Jarena is sad, remembering that she couldn't fulfill her promise to her sister.
"hey, Jarena are you okay? you seem a bit off, is there anything wrong?"-Tim.
No reply from Jarena. Joseph noticed that Jarena wasn't hearing. Joseph called her name again.
This time Jarena replied-"hmm? uh sorry guys I was thinking of something else so I didn't listen to what you were saying". Joseph- "it's okay".
Tim- "you seem kinda sad, what happened? What were you thinking?".
Jarena replied - "Ana is going to be sad, I promised her that I'd spend the night with her. But the manager requested me to come here, I couldn't say no to her. But what I'm going to say to Ana? She probably is mad at me".
"Why don't you call her and explain the situation to her? she is gonna understand. And try to make up for it later?"- Tim.
"Who is Ana by the way?"-Joseph
"Her sister"; "My sister" - Tim and Jarena replied together.
"Now call her!"- Tim
Jarena called Ana. *connecting*. She whispers, "What if she doesn't pick up, maybe she's angry". "What if she does?!" - replied both Tim and Joseph in loud voice. Ana picks up. "Hello?"- from the other side of the phone. Jarena -"Hey.....Ana(Jarena hesitantly says)".
