Time skip to Wednesday

Anna' POV

It was one of the few days when we had a quiet day. As promised, T'Challa came with Shuri to the Café in the afternoon to give me their briefing about the meeting on Friday. They stayed with me until closing time when they learned that I was going to the bank today so I wouldn't go alone.

I had about $40,000 on me and they wanted me to be safe. We all headed to the car together and started towards the bank. After not long on the way I started humming a song from the radio,

"Can you sing?" asked Shuri, and before I could deny it Peter answered for me,

"She sings like an angel. Anna has a beautiful voice but she doesn't sing in front of others because she is not bold. Don't try to argue with me Sis believe it's true'' he said and I laughed a little.

We reached the bank and I went inside with them and it took me about 15/20 minutes to finish depositing the money and we went to the Stark Tower. Another song started to sing,

''Please sing,'' Shuri said, and I nodded, knowing that she wouldn't let me go. I immediately recognized the song as Adele's: Rumour Has It. I took a deep breath and began:

When I finished there was silence for a moment and I began to worry that they didn't like it. Suddenly Shuri squealed and it was a good thing we were at a red light because she scared me

'' It was great. You really have the voice of an angel. Too bad you don't sing in front of the others such a voice shouldn't be hated '' Shuri said and I blushed a little. When the light turned green I moved on

'' Thank you Shuri but I don't like to be the center of attention. Singing is kind of my way to de-stress or working out at the gym '' I said focusing on the road. Not long after that we arrived at their destination

'' Bye Anna see you Friday'' said Shuri

'' Goodbye Anna'' said T'Challa

'' Bye'' I said going to my apartment with Peter. May had to go to another city for a while because of work and Peter is staying with me until she gets back.

She said that possibly it will take her two maybe one month depends on how things develop there. She is rarely appointed for such trips since I have known her, but she prefers Peter to stay with me.

She was then reassured that Peter was safe and someone was taking care of him. When we arrived Peter took his class and I made us dinner.

When he finished his work we ate together and after that I checked to make sure he had everything right. After checking everything is fine I combined the movie and we sat down in our lair.

Shuri's POV 

When Anna left I went inside the building with my brother. I was glad that Anna agreed to have dinner with us as much as I met her she is oan a very nice girl.

I could see why Peter appreciated her so much, it was clear they had a very strong bond with each other. When we went inside everyone was in the living room

'' Hey How did it go?" asked Tony,

" I'm fine. We're booked for Friday at 6pm as we said. I learned something new about Anna'' I said

'' And what's that'' asked Natasha

'' She has the voice of an Angel. I've heard her sing and she has an  gift'' said T'Challa and I nodded my head in agreement. Tony turned their attention back to us

'' What we know so far about her is: she is kind, hardworking, smart, her family is dead, she is a great cook and has the voice of an angel. She is also a beautiful dark-skinned young woman '' Tony said and we nodded our heads. I couldn't wait for Friday to learn more about her. 

However, I have a feeling that she has other secrets and Peter knows about them because every time we ask about her training he changes the topic of conversation. It seems to me that he is simply protective of her as his sister and he cares about her.
