Connor's POV:As the mini-game started, I couldn't help but steal glances at Y/n. She looked focused yet determined as she stepped onto the ice, her movements graceful yet assertive. I found myself mesmerized by the way she handled herself, effortlessly blending into the game despite her initial reluctance.As the game progressed, I couldn't shake off the feeling of wanting to impress her. Every time I made a play, I found myself subconsciously checking to see if she was watching. It was like I had an extra layer of motivation driving me forward, pushing me to give it my all.At one point, the puck came flying towards me, and without thinking, I swiftly maneuvered it away from our goal. I glanced over to where Y/n was standing, and to my surprise, she was cheering me on with a bright smile. It felt like a small victory, earning her approval amidst the chaos of the game.

Y/n's POV:As much as I tried to resist, I couldn't deny the rush of excitement coursing through me as I joined the mini-game. It was exhilarating, the adrenaline pumping through my veins as I skated alongside the boys, each of us vying for control of the puck.Despite my initial apprehension, I found myself getting into the groove of the game, my competitive spirit kicking in. I may have been the only girl on the ice, but I was determined to hold my own and show them what I was made of.As the game heated up, I couldn't help but notice Connor's impressive skills. He moved with such finesse, his determination evident in every stride. There was something magnetic about him, something that drew my attention like a moth to a flame.When he made that crucial play, deflecting the puck away from our goal, I couldn't help but cheer him on. His smile in response was like a reward in itself, and in that moment, I couldn't deny the flutter of butterflies in my stomach. Maybe this mini-game wouldn't be so terrible after all.
