Changes Start's At Nevermore|| A Woeful First Day (Part I)

Wednesday Pov. (Before Morticia went to talk to Mal.)

Mother approaches Mal and I "Mal dear would you please give us some privacy?" and she nod stepping out of the way and going to stand far away from us.

"Any plans you have of running away end right now." Mother warned "I've alerted all family members to contact me the minute you darken their doorstep. You have nowhere to go."

"As usual,you underestimate me,Mother." I said "I will escape this educational penitentiary,and you will never hear from me again."

Mother sighs "You are a brilliant girl,Wednesday,but sometimes you get in your own way. " she says "I'm sure you'll grow to love Nevermore,and find it as life-changing as I did."

Mother starts to fiddle a chain on her hands "Oh,I got you a little something." she reveals it to be a pendant "W..." and she flip it "M. Our initials. It's made of obsidian,which Aztec priest used to conjure visions. It's a symbol of our connection."

I grab the chain out of her hands to examine it "Which one of your spirits suggested this toe-curling tchotchke?" I questioned "I'm not you, Mother." I said and then added "I will never fall in love,or be a housewife,or have a family."

"I'm told girls your age say hurtful things,and I shouldn't take it to heart." mother says.

"Fortunately,you don't have one." I said.

"Finally,a kind word for your mother." mother said smiling at me "Lurch, the crystal ball,please." she said gesturing for the crystal ball kept inside the compartment Lurch was holding.

Lurch handed the compartment to her "We can't talk to you for the first week while you're settling in,so we'll call you next Sunday." she said handing the compartment to me and I accepted it.

I watched her as she approached Mal and talked to her handing her a letter which she accepted and I watched as she get into the car.

Third Person Pov.

When Morticia had sat inside the car she forced herself not to show any emotions that make it looked that she's sad but a few tears did fall from her eyes to her cheeks Gomez handed her a handkerchief and she accepted it and wipe the tears that was falling from her eyes.

"Don't worry,my love." Gomez reassured. "Our little scorpions won't be alone." he added and one flick of the small lever close to his seat he releases Thing out of the car.

It was a stormy day when the attacks had started again. A backpack and a tumbler that was open that the cap is filled with blood.

"Where's the rest of him?" asked Sheriff. Galpin looking at the decapitated head of a man.

"Well, the torso and arm are over there." said his assistant pointing at the grass "We found a peg by the lake." she said pointing to the direction towards the lake "There's an arm in that tree over there," she said pointing to the tree with an hanging decapitated arm in it's branch "and the rest of the parts are so far unaccounted for. It matches the profile of the other two attacks last week." she finishes.

"All right,issue a warning. Keep hikers out of the woods. Don't approve anymore campfire permits for the foreseeable future." said Sheriff. Galpin.

"What do you want me to tell the press?" asked his deputy. "You know they're going to be swarming like mosquitos by July."

"-Tell them the bear is back.-"

"-You don't believe that,Sheriff." countered his deputy.

"No, I don't. Whatever did this wasn't human. Look,I know these murders are connected to Nevermore." Sheriff. Galpin says pointing at the direction of the school. "I just can't prove it yet. So until I can...it's a goddamn bear."
