"And that's why I never pair the two together. They look so tacky", Katie said through video chat. She helped me pair a good tie with my slacks and dress shirt for my dinner with the twins' parents. Their dad is the current alpha of their pack and their mother is luna. I found out they have an older sister who's away on business and a younger sister and brother as well.

"Are you sure I look alright?", I asked again making Katie's head hit the bed.

"For the last time yes. How dare you doubt my skills of fashception", she said with that grin of hers.

"fashception?"

"oh hush. Anywho your dates should be there soon so why don't you get off, go wait for them, and call me as soon as you get back", she said more as a command than a question.

"fine", I said reluctantly. I can't help being nervous. I always get anxious even over little things. I prayed I wasn't currently sweating through my pits. What a horrible way to make a first impression. I was interrupted from the thoughts by a knock on my door. I opened it to find my roommate's friend Ken.

"you have visitors downstairs", he said simply and went inside. I tied my blue and yellow tie on the way downstairs and took one more deep breath before going through the corridor leading outside. I saw them through the glass window and upon seeing me, they beamed. I gotta admit it feels so great having that effect on people. I checked my pants for my i.d. card and when I was sure I had it, I went outside.

"you look delectable", Derek greeted me with a hug. He subtly sniffed the crook of my neck. Michael on the other wasn't so subtle and pulled me in for a hungry kiss much to the surprise of the other students in the quad.

"I'll say", Michael agreed pulling away not as flushed as I was. I fixed my shirt and shyly looked away.

"Shall we?", Derek said offering his arm which I hooked mine through and together they led me to their car. They both own it so it's theirs. Their parents wanted to save money they told me on the way.

"So what are your siblings like?", I asked trying to make small talk. Since Michael was focused on driving, it was Derek who answered.

"Our older sister, Natalie is...well a firecracker. She's very headstrong and independent and when she wants something she goes after it. She's current in China for a business conference. She and my dad own CITRO", he said. My jaw almost dropped.

"The conglomerate!?", I asked amazed. He nodded.

"you guys are fricking rich!" CITRO owns everything from gas stations to satellite stations.

"Our younger sister, Penny is more reserved. She's very shy but once she warms up to you, she'll never stop talking. And our younger brother, Joey is just as mischievous as we were as pups at that age", he said with a smile dancing across his face. The crescent moonshine illuminated and highlighted his eyes.

After a bit of driving we pulled into a long driveway that led to the biggest house I've ever seen. I couldn't stop the 'whoa' that escaped my mouth and Derek chuckled.

"This is the pack house. It's big because we have a lot of members who live here", he explained. Michael put the car in drive and got out to help me out, much to my displeasure of being treated so fragile. We walked up to the door where Derek was about to knock but a little girl with soft curls in her hair answered looking up at us with suspicion.

"Who are you?", she asked quietly.

"Hi. I'm Zephyr", I said trying to be polite. I bent down and stretched my hand out but she shied away hiding behind a large figure that seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

"Now that's no way to treat our guests Penny", his voice boomed. It seemingly exuded power. I looked up to see a man in his early 50s. He had hair gray streaks in his hair and was very well built from where I stood. He wore a striped shirt and slacks and glasses on his face that dipped slightly so he adjusted them.

"And you must be Zephyr", he said extending his hand. I shook it and nodded hello unsure of what to say. 'your highness, your majesty?'. Michael laughed obviously again picking up on my thoughts.

"Alpha will do just fine", he said ushering me in. The inside was just as massive as the outside. There was a long hallway leading into what looked like a large kitchen. And stairs seemingly endless. There was a foyer to my left and an office with the door half open to my right. The furnishing was very old-fashioned but homey. The place was very comforting.

"I'm glad I finally get the opportunity to meet the mate of my sons", the Alpha said walking towards the kitchen.

"Where are my manners, my name is John. Welcome to my home".

"My wife will be joining us shortly, she's getting Joey ready", he explained. We all sat in the living room. Penny played with her toys while I chatted with the Alpha. This was turning out to not be that scary of an evening. Then I heard a shriek. Maybe not.
