I stepped outside, Demiurge close behind, and froze.

"Whoa..." I breathed. I'd never seen a sky so beautiful. The stars glittered as if I were flying among them.

The land around the tomb was open, free from trees. The grass was a vibrant green, and the air was unspoiled by smoke or pollution. It was the most stunning sight I had ever witnessed.

Before I knew it, my wings unfurled, and suddenly I was in the sky, racing towards the stars.

I rose higher and then paused, taking in the sights of this untouched world below me. I heard Demiurge's wings as he flew up to join me, and I turned to him.

"Have you ever seen a sight so beautiful?" I asked, my eyes scanning the endless horizon.

He considered my question, then replied, "Yes, my Lady. I witnessed many scenes like this on expeditions with my creator."

In Yggdrasil, we'd often seen beautiful vistas, but those weren't real. Here, I could feel the cool night air, the wind in my hair, and the thrill of weightless flight.

"Yes," I said, smiling, "I suppose we did."

Then I remembered the meeting with Momonga. Quickly, I turned back towards the tomb.

I landed outside the doors, deciding to try using my ring. Somehow, by focusing on what I wanted, I conjured a portal before me.

Turning to Demiurge, I gestured for him to follow, and stepped into the Gate.

The transition felt like moving through a thin sheet of cold water, and then, suddenly, I was somewhere else.

I looked around at the large arena. Momonga and the others were already there, seemingly waiting for us.

Taking a steadying breath, I stepped forward, preparing myself for whatever lay ahead.
