Most books I've read have just enough information. It is quite annoying if a book has nothing but reviews on the back

D Does it matter to you whether the author is male or female when you're deciding on a book? What if you're unsure of the author's gender?
I honestly don't care. But I may be a bit annoyed if a male author was writing from a teenage girl's POV and fails miserably or vise versa
