Ellie Reid is a normal 17-year-old teenager, or so she was until she finds out that she has Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). She isn't a bit dazed at all about it though. Her life's ending and there's nothing she can do about it. Why does it matter a bit too much to everyone else around her?

Then she meets 19-year-old Michael Clifford, who shows her why her life is worth it and why everybody cares about it a little too much.

Everyone says that before you let go, you should remember the reason why you held on for so long. But what if you had to let go? What if you couldn't hold on any longer? What if you had no other option? For me, that is the case.

You just learn to accept the fact that there is no way of changing your own fate. This is your destiny, and all you have to do is accept it. You can't do anything about it. No way to change it.

But sometimes.. sometimes they're right. Sometimes it is about holding on.. holding on to the memories, the experiences, and basically making it worth to remember. Because life isn't about letting go. It's about making it worth to remember.
