Sophia's POV

I was sat in the stands watching the England players train at their training site with a coffee in my hand seeing as it was fairly early in the morning. So early that Phoebe was still sound asleep. I had been myself until 6am, when I'd woken up and been unable to fall back asleep again after the realisation that today marked one month since I walked in on Sammy cheating on me.

After I made the mistake of replying to Jordan's 'good morning' text he insisted that I have some breakfast and then go and watch the team train seeing as I couldn't get back to sleep. It wasn't that I didn't want to be there, it was just that my mind was so far away from what was going on in front of me that I might as well have just stayed in the hotel.

"Sophia."

I was startled by the nudge to my shoulder, as I looked across and noticed Jordan had taken the seat next to me. I hadn't even heard him come up – see what I mean about my mind being so distant?

"Huh? Sorry." I said.

"What's going on with you today? Does that coffee not have any caffeine in it or something?" Jordan joked.

"Nah, it's got caffeine in it. A lot of caffeine in it." I replied.

"Then why are you so all over the place?" Jordan asked me. I exhaled deeply.

"Is that my cue to leave?"

Trent's voice from the seat on my other side made me jump out of my skin – had he been here this whole time?

"Sorry." Trent apologised.

"How long have you–"

"He sat down at the same time as me Soph." Jordan laughed.

"You don't have to leave Trent." I told him.

"So are you gonna tell both of us what's bothering you?" Jordan asked.

"There's nothing bothering me so I'm not telling either of you anything." I said.

"Sophia..." Jordan trailed off.

"Jordan..." I retaliated. I heard Trent stifle a laugh.

"Sophia, I'm your brother. I've known you your whole life. Which means I know when something's bothering you." Jordan pointed out.

"It's true, the second you sat down up there he said something was wrong." Trent added.

"It's nothing you need to worry about." I told Jordan.

"If something's bothering my little sister then it's definitely something I need to worry about." Jordan argued.

"Jordan what's the date today?" I asked my brother.

"June 21st , why?" Jordan frowned.

"Do you know what I was doing one month ago today?" I questioned.

"Should I know?" Jordan asked cautiously.

"One month ago today I was crying on your doorstep, begging for a place to stay because I'd just walked in on Sammy cheating on me with another girl." I explained.

"Oh." Jordan nodded knowingly. "I'm sorry, I completely–"

"It's fine, I don't expect you to remember the date I caught my boyfriend cheating on me." I quickly reassured Jordan.

"Maybe we could do something fun after training." Jordan suggested. "A little lunch date maybe. The three of us."

"I'm down." Trent nodded.

"I dunno Jord..." I shrugged.

"Oh come on, it'll be fun."

"It's only fun if I'm there." Declan joked, as him and Mason came to join myself, Trent and Jordan.
