"Damn it!" Dean seethed when Ellen hung up the phone.

"Don't beat yourself up, Dean." Sam assured, "There's nothing you could have done,"

El scoffed at the thought.

"Tell me you got something," Dean huffed.

"Uh, maybe," Sam replied. "Look. If you look at the layout of the Holmes Murder Castle, there are other torture chambers inside the walls, right? But there's one we haven't considered yet...."

"The one in his basement," El finished.

"This building doesn't have a basement,"

"You're right. It doesn't." Sam said, "But I just noticed this." he pointed to the blueprint. "Beneath the foundation, it looks like part of an old sewer system. It hasn't been used for...."

El grabbed her jacket. "Let's go,"

Sam and Dean followed El as she seemed to follow an invisible trail to the empty area where the prison used to be.

She stopped in the middle and looked back at Dean, who held a shovel. "Here,"

"You sure?" Dean questioned.

"My best friend is in danger of being killed by a serial killer ghost, with her mother coming to behead us...yes, I'm sure," El argued.

Dean shrugged and began digging. He stopped when he hit metal.

The brothers began brushing off the dirt until they could make out an entrance to the sewers.

El moved to help with the door as Sam could only do it one-handed.

"Got it?" Dean asked.

"Yeah," El nodded. She glanced down and cringed at the bugs that crawled along the sides "Gross,"

Dean handed Sam and her a shotgun as he used a flashlight to look down.

"You sure you don't want me going first?" El questioned.

"I got Jo into this mess," Dean reminded.

"Fair enough,"

"Hey!" Dean exclaimed as he saw the ghost attacking Jo and fired his shotgun of rock salt.

"No!" The spirit screamed as he disappeared.

"Jo!" El called out.

"I'm here!" Jo cried.

"That ghost is dead," Myra growled.

"For once we agree on something," El huffed as she opened up the space that Jo was in.

"Hey. I'm gonna get you out of here, all right?" Sam told another girl.

"Sam!" Dean tossed Sam the crowbar.

"Dean, a little help," El said as she worked on opening up the grate.

Jo crawled out and hugged El.

"You all right?" El asked.

"I've been better," Jo coughed shakily. "Let's get the hell out of here before he comes back,"

"I'm not leaving here just yet,"

"What?!" The trio of hunters questioned simultaneously.

"No one messes with my family and gets away with it. Plus, you need to get Jo out of here before mama bear shows up,"

Myra sat in the middle of the sewers and smirked. "You can come out now,"

"You're not human," The spirit noted.

"No, but I've put a lot of work into it," Myra marveled at her nails. "Now look, I'm all for you freaks getting your jollies from other humans, but you made one mistake..." she glared at the spirit, her eyes pitch black "you messed with her best friend," Myra thrust her hand forward.

The spirit began to squirm and scream as it erupted into flames before disintegrating into ash.

It was awkwardly silent in the Impala.

Sam, Jo, and El sat in the back seats as Dean drove with Ellen in the passenger seat.

"Well, you weren't kidding about flying out, were you?" Dean asked, breaking the silence. "How about we listen to some music?" he turned on the radio

You're as cold as ice

Ellen reached over and turned it off.

"This is gonna be a long drive," El groaned as she leaned back into the seat.
