Chapter FiftyNine
Omniscient
Spring Street Courthouse - 7 Months Later

The word humble floated around Mya's head as their driver got closer and closer to the courthouse. It was finally time to start the court proceedings for the Browns case against Syren and Tim. Their lawyer consistently delayed the dates trying to find a way to plea Syren out but there was nothing. She was the one who sent everything so she was the most guilty.

Their black Escalade came to halt in front of the court stairs and their bodyguards jumped out the front. Chris's door was opened and paparazzi immediately rushed to take pictures of them. Chris reached back to grab Mya's hand and helped her out.

When she got dressed this morning she made sure to give Syren and Tim a reminder of why she has every right to pop her shit. Multiple diamond chains sat on her neck, her most expensive watch on her wrist. Diamond encrusted Cartier frames shielded her eyes and she wore a tailored navy blue Tom Ford suit that you could tell was made for her with the suede blue Tom Ford pumps to tie it all together. Her newest crocodile Hermes bag that cost more than the judge made in a year, was in her right hand while her husband held the other.

Her hair straightened to perfection. She looked and smelled like money and everything she had on she got herself.

Mya made sure Chris matched her fly even though he complained all morning because he had to put on something other than jeans.

They made their way through the crowd and inside the building, after going through the metal detectors they headed to their assigned court rooms. Their family waited outside.

"Girl you're supposed to be in the house with my nephew." Mya said while walking up Mariah. She had her baby two weeks ago. A handsome baby boy named Avery. He was the spitting image of his dad with his moms complexion.

"You know I had to come support y'all, I love my brother but he fucked up." Mariah hugged her sister then Chris.

"Mya you blinding me damn." Sinko said while covering his eyes.

"What? My humble ass? This something light Sinko." She laughed while fixing the rose chain Chris got her on their first date.

"She look good as hell, don't she?" Chris asked while wrapping an arm around Mya.

"Now if I say yeah you gone be in court next for murder."

"At least you know."

Everybody laughed.

After that they all talked amongst each other until the room immediately fell silent. Mya turned around to look and see what everyone was looking at. When her eyes fell on her brother and Syren. Tim looked over at everybody and the blank looks on their face we're gut wrenching. He was literally outcasted from his own family.

"She looks so stupid." Syren said while rolling her eyes at Mya and in her head, she thought otherwise.

Mya smirked. She loved the fact that Syren thought that this was a game. She couldn't wait to get behind that mic and act like she's so depressed and her family is damaged because of this. Mya really didn't even want anything from them, just to prove a point that you can't fuck with them and continuously get away with it.
