Having returned to his isolated mansion, away from the council and royals, Jisung remains looking at the floors of his bedroom as his friends all exchange glances. Y/N, on the other hand, was hurt.
"You're...lying," said Y/N.
Jisung's heart breaks at the sound of her voice. Her words cut deeper than a knife but he knows he must embrace the sharp edges before it goes deeper, how can he embrace the sharpness when it's inflicted by the person he loves the most in all his years of living?
Changbin loosens his muscles and clears his throat, he glances over to Chan. "Rules are rules. The councils have a set of rules and laws that are required to follow but Jisung I'm sure if you accept your father's position along with claiming the throne, there could be a way out of this."
Chan, "It is not possible since the councils are in charge now. Since a few centuries ago, after Han's mother, the last Princess, had decided to step down from her position, there has not been anybody known to have royal blood but like Changbin said...there could be hope that Jisung can go, and fix the laws and rule the vampires again. That is...if he wants to."
Y/N looks back at the quiet blue hair male, hesitantly she steps closer but then retreated again. Jisung reverts his deep gaze to her and it made her freeze in her steps. Her tearful eyes glow ruby and it pains Jisung's heart that he can not only protect her loved ones but also took away her life.
"I'm a coward, aren't I?" He chuckles and the room tense at his words. The red hair freckle boy looks over between the two couples.
"Jisung, it is not like that---"
