Twenty-Five

The sounds of voices slowly fade out as Y/N can sense her nerves closing in on her, the sounds of her beating heart die down as she can feel her lungs give up on her. 

The cool air she ingests enters her slowly, bringing her back to her senses after her vision has cleared of red. 

Looking around her surroundings, Y/N can sense that she was inside the home of Jisung's. The blue hair vampire was out of sight which confuses her as she furrows her brows to get a clear understanding of what had just happened. 

Why does she feel so different suddenly...almost as if her body had died on her but her mind is still awake. 

"Have I...become a vampire?" the thought of her becoming the same species as her dear friend Hyunjin makes her uneasy, but something about the reality of it makes her feel at ease. 

"It seems you're not used to the adjustments, yet, are you?" said the familiar voice, and Y/N whips her head to look over to the balcony of the bedroom. The moonlight shines upon him giving him god-like features of the night. His red eyes stare into her as he smiles. 

"It's not bad once you get used to it," Hyunjin said. He moves away from where he leans and quickly he appears beside the newly awakened vampire girl.

Y/N gulps down the hard lump and begins to look around nervously. Hyunjin tilts his head and moves his gaze over to the door. "It looks like you're hungry. I'll go find you something but in the meantime do not leave this room until I come back." 

Y/N nodded and then her friend disappears. The vampire girl looks around frantically as she can feel her senses blaring through her body, making her uncomfortable. 

Her visions weren't fully cleared yet but she can still see a few of her surroundings, although they were vividly red. It must be due to hunger. Y/N carefully put a hand on her neck and lightly squeeze it in hopes to suppress the bloody thirst, but it didn't seem to work like that.
