"Me?"

"No, I'm Jess and I'm me, who are you?!" She hissed looking deep into my soul. The sounds of loud footsteps broke the silence. "We don't have time for introductions. They called for backup." I held her arm and ran the opposite direction of the footsteps.

Bad luck, the school was designed in an oval shape meaning they were coming from both sides. "Over here!" I heard my copy whisper shout at me. I looked over to her and saw her running towards a door in the hall. I ran after her into the room.

"Umm... Why is there a desert in a school?" I said looking confused as hell. " I don't think we are I the school anymore." The girl said looking around.

" Really?" I said sarcastically. We both then started looking around in silence for maby a village or a caravan. Something like that.

"Hey, look here!" I heard a voice say from behind. My guess was maby she found a village not too far away or a cactus, the heat was making me thirstier by the second.

I turned around to the direction she was looking at.

But I bet no one would have guessed a huge ship was heading towards us. Yes, I mean the ship that goes on water but this one apperantly was sailing on sand.

"Whaaa..." I stood there with my mouth open in shock of what I was seeing. "Come on, maby there is someone that can help us. We'll do introductions in the ship." She said and pulled me by the arm and dragged me towards the huge desert ship.

Not too long later we stood nexto the ship because it had stopped. Suddenly a rope came from the top of the ship. I started climbing almost immediately until I looked down.

"Aren't you coming?"
"I don't have any experience climbing ropes..." She wispered.

"Just because you don't have experience doesn't mean you don't know how to. Come on." I told her straight forward and continued climbing.

It took longer than expected for her to get up. But eventually she got up. "Is there anyone here?" She asked me. "Not that I know of" I muttered.

"Okay, then let's finally start our introduction. I'm Jess, I currently work as a detective. Is your name Max?" I looked at her in suspicion.

"How do you know my name?" I asked sternly. "The women in the white room told me about you and told me you were a part of me as in a disorder." She tried explaining to me.

"Well, that women is crazy personified! I have NO SORT OF MENTAL ILLNESS!" I let out my anger that I had been bottling up for a while now. Then all of a sudden the ship started moving. I looked over to the wheel and saw no one. The ship was moving on its own.

We went over to the front of the boat and watched the view. All my memories...

They were all scattered across the desert. I looked around in astonished. I looked over at one of them, it showed memories.

Bad ones.

*Flash back*

"Ha! Freak!" I heard a kid laugh.
"Why are you so skinny?" The other kid questioned.
"I'm not that thin..." I replied
"Dude! You're flatter than paper itself!" The third kid giggled then pushed me into the locker for the tenth time today. Yes,I counted.

"Please stop." I begged but they never listened. I was bruised everywhere even my bruises had bruises and none of the teachers gave a crap about it.

The kid pushed me into the locker one more time and I had enough.

"STOP!" I Shouted and everyone's gaze landed on me.
"What did you just say?" The kid asked.
"S-Stop" I stuttered trying to repeat what I said.
"Okay flatty, you asked for it." I heard the buffest kid in school say seriously. I gulped accepting my fate.

He grabbed a whole lot of my hair and pulled it up. I gritted my teeth in pain. Then he threw me into the concrete floor and kicked me in the back harshly. He pulled me up from my hair and threw me into the lockers causing me to yelp in pain this time.

"That will teach you not to stand up for yourself again!" The kid shouted.
"Come on guys we got better places to be." Another said then they all walked away leaving me on the floor still crying because of the pain.

The physical and emotional pain was so much my brain decided to tune it out, making a completely different person come into my place like I was possessed.

*End of flashback*

"I guess the women was right." I mumbled to myself forgetting the presence of someone nexto me. I guess she saw the flashback too.

"So, I'm just someone your mind created because of the amount of trauma you had. Aren't I?" I looked towards her. She wasn't wrong.

"It looks like it." I replied hoping she didn't feel bad.

"Well, we can't continue like this. It's gonna lead to more chaos for us and the people around us. You have to get rid of that trauma. Ok?" She sounded determined.

I widened my eyes in shock. "B- But you will go away..." I stuttered. She was a nice person, at least she looked like one, but I didn't want to let go.

"I know but it's ok." She smiled. "Can you just take care of my job? It covers all the bills." She added.

"I promise." I said seriously. And I never break a promise. She gave me a warm smile.

"Ok. Imma need some time though." I broke the warm silence. She nodded and went inside the ship. I took a deep breath and looked at all the memories.

*Time skip*

"A hospital?" I asked looking around. "She's awake!" A nurse shouted.

"What?" I asked still confused. "You ran out of the therapy room then beated up some of our patients. We found you in  the storage room unconscious." The nurse explained then she left the room leaving me alone.

I looked around in confusion. "It was a dream.. but not a dream at the same time." I muttered to myself.

All of a sudden I heard the door open and Jake went through it. For a reason I knew who he was.

"Jake?"

"Yeah... To answer all your questions you are going to spit at me, yes I payed for your therapy lessons because I felt worried. I mean, obviously I didn't think you killed Mr. Frederickson." He chuckled.

I laughed with him akwardly. I remember that too.

"Anyways, it's for your own good you continue the lessons." He said worried.

I chuckled. "Don't worry, I got it all sorted out. I'm Max not Jess by the way." I smiled.

"Oh... You really did get things sorted out." He looked relieved. "Come on let's get out of here, boss I got good news. Boss isn't gonna fire you! But he wants you to get back to work immediately." He added.

"Arent I supposed to go to jail for killing someone?" I asked knowing the consequences of my actions.

"I bailed you out before you could even get in!" He said proudly.

"Thanks Jake." I said getting out of the hospital bed.

Now everything is as it should be! I thought to myself.
