Puss bugged Kitty until she would tell him a story from his childhood. "Fine! Fine. I'll tell you one." She gave in. Puss sat in front of her on the floor while she sat on a chair.
Kitty cleared her throat. "When I was a little girl, my mother said to me. "What's your favorite flower, darling, I'll get you the seed." I said. "Dandelions! Dandelions! That one so pretty!" She said "Child, that one's not a flower, that one's just a weed." Oh, what a shame." Kitty rocked frantically.
Puss listened closely and got into the story she was telling. "Now it don't look the same. Guess it don't look the same. Oh, what a shame!" Kitty moved frantically.
"I still loved those mellow yellow pedals anyway. What's that thing they say about a rose by any other name? Then my fragile flower turned into a ball of gray. So I took a breath and made a wish and blew them all away." Kitty told.
"Oh." Was all Puss managed to get out. He got up and hugged Kitty because he noticed her jerking movements. She breathed deeply.
"It's okay, mi amor." Puss told her. Kitty loosened her body more. She wasn't as tensed as she was.
Kitty felt relaxed in her lovers arms.
