I Need You

Chapter 9

As soon as the others left the room, Elena rushed to Stefan hugging him as tightly as possible. "Stefan I'm going to have him back!! We're going to have him back."

Stefan smiled at her and hugged her not saying anything. He wanted her, too and he couldn't help it. She was his first afterall. Stefan felt disgusted with himself thinking that way.

At least she is happy.. Stefan thought to himself.

"Klaus." Caroline said, stalking behind him. "Klaus." But he kept on walking. "Klaus. Why are you ignoring me?"

"What is it that you want, love?" Klaus said, his accent thick.

"Why are you doing this?" Caroline narrowed her eyebrows, a habit she did whenever she was confused and mad.

"Doing what, love?" He asked, still not looking at her face, "Oh I know what you mean. I'm a very busy man."

"So? Can't you even just stop for a second." Caroline frowned and Klaus finally stopped and turned to look at her.

He eyed her lips then her eyes, before finally speaking afrer what seemed like forever, "Just because I'm the 'bad guy' as everyone thinks I am, doesn't mean that words don't hurt me. Because they do, more than you'll ever know."

And it was true, Klaus was hurt. He knew that Caroline didn't stay for him, but for the sake of her friends. He had a hope that she tagged along with her other friends to see him but nope, she barely gives a damn about him. At least that what he thought of her.

Meanwhile Caroline felt a hole in her heart that needed to be filled. And she didn't know how. It was either Klaus or Stefan. Clearly Stefan didn't love her the way she loves him. But Klaus loves her. Even though she doesn't feel anything towards him but a bit of attraction.

She sighed furiously and walked to where her friends were, only to find the whole room empty. She searched in the rooms she knew of in the place but still found nothing. She thought about going to Rebekah's room, since she did find Elena there with Rebekah, for some reason even though Caroline knew they hated one another. She knocked on Rebekah's door.

"You bitch!" Caroline said as she saw Hayley open Rebekah's door. "What now Caroline? I'm sorry I bit you, okay?! But now your boyfriend cured you. It's enough that Klaus humiliated me." Caroline decided not to say anything once she heard her say that Klaus humiliated her.

"Have you seen Elena?" Caroline asked.

"No. She went out with Stefan somewhere." Hayley replied. Caroline nodded feeling left behind, but then again they probably thought she'd be with Klaus. Just as Caroline was about to leave Hayley called her.

"You can join us." Hayley offered and Caroline took her offer not wanting to be alone in this city.

She realised how much Rebekah and Hayley have bonded because of this baby, she really was a hope for everything. Especially the family.

"Rebekah.. What was Elena doing here.. Earlier?" Caroline was so curious.

"I needed her blood. So we can bring Damon back." Rebekah replied. Caroline said, "Do you need mine to bring Bonnie?"

"Only the blood of the dead's lovers can bring the dead back. Jeremy will come tomorrow for that." Rebekah answered. Caroline was so convinced it was true, little did she know it was all a lie.

"Oh okay then. And you don't know where she went?"

"Nope. Can you please stop asking questions, Blondie." Rebekah rolled her eyes at Caroline, irritated with her. "Fine." Caroline muttered.
