Fenrir's Fang and Team 7

The Night had passed and everybody went home.

Neji seemed a little bit like a sore loser, but he was polite about it, so Naruto didn't mind the look of rage deep in his eyes.

But the next morning, before everybody was set to be at the school for the team Assignments, Fenrir, Frigga and Tengan all came to his room, a short but thick, Slightly curved blade in hand.

Looking over the blade, Naruto instantly knew what this was, and why they were here.

"So this is Fenrir's Fang... It's name definitely is fitting. Such a menacing feeling..." Naruto said, trailing off a bit at the end.

Fenrir nodded, "It is indeed the blade I promised you, You've done well to pass the Academy and, you've managed to grow so much in such a short period of time. I, and everybody else, are very proud of you"

Naruto couldn't help but tear up a bit.

But not letting the tears get in his way, he wiped them away and asked fairly important.

"I don't see a sheath... And with Tengan here with his sealing kit, I assume there's Fuinjutsu involved?" Naruto asked.

Tengan Nodded, as he came forward and began to prepare, "Indeed, It's a special seal, one that works with one already place in the sword. It will bind the place to your very soul, and it will become one with you. There's no sheath because the seal works as a storage seal for the sword itself" The Seal master explained.

"The Blade has many strange things it can do. Most of them inherit abilities my father had. It can change Size and shape slightly to fit its wielders' needs . It can even grow back from any damage the blade has sustained and grow in size, by feeding on chakra. And it's most amazing is that it acts as if made of Chakra Metal, so you can , for example, infuse your wind chakra into the blade and increase its cutting power" Fenrir explained.

Naruto was shocked at all the things the blade seemed to be able to do, and thinking of them, he got many ideas for his future fighting style.

Naruto held out his hand, as Tengan applied the special Ink that was needed for the seal.

The ink, being made to not only form the seal, but also make it permanent, began to glow red hot once Tengan finished.

The burning sensation was painful, but Naruto held in his cries.

He knew that the pain wasn't as bad as some of the things he had felt before, after all, Sasuke and Fenrir made for very capable sparing partners.

Once the seal was seared into Naruto's skin, he was given a basic rundown of how to use the blade and the seal.

Naruto picked up the instructions fairly easily, being bale to summon the Blade form it's seal at will, and being able to reshape it.

Although that part was a little less refined, it would get better with time.

Naruto quickly had breakfast and made his way to the academy with Sasuke and Sakura.

Once they had arrived and taken their seats in their old classroom, which was all but empty except for a few of the stragglers who managed to pass the exams and probably couldn't sleep.

As the room slowly filled up, All the students arriving before the teacher showed up, Nature t could almaot feel the tense atmosphere that almost everybody was contributing to.

But as Iruka, Their former teacher, arrived everybody noticed the Shinobi that followed in after him.

"Ok everybody, Listen up. These are your Jonin Instructors. You'll be placed in a 4 man cell, which will include three students and one jonin. The teams have been decided by the Hokage with input from The teachers. Now... Let's begin" Iruka explained as he started to call out the teams.

The notable Groups, or at least the ones with Naruto's friends in them, were as follows.

Ino, Shikamaru and Choji, led by the Jonin Asuma Sarutobi, The son of Hiruzen. This was a tradition team, as their parents had been placed in the same team, and so had theirs. Asuma seems to be the best pick, as he was one of the more skilled Jonin in the village when it came to a variety of thing thing,

Kiba, Hinata and Shino (the latter being someone who I've never really talked to), were led  by Jonin Kurenai. This seemed to be a dedicated Tracking team, and as they also had a good wide variety in Combat, they could be used as front liners. Kurenai seemed to be a good pick as well, since she is the most powerful Genjutsu master in all the village aside from Kakashi with his Sharingan based Genjutsu.

The there was Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto, who would be led by Kakashi. This, he could tell was placed either becuase were were the strongest of our year, and would be a trump card of sorts. Or because they were all inducted as members of the Uzumaki. and were very familiar with each other, so we would work well. And seeing as Kakashi was also included, probably to further his training with Sasuke and and also develop a more computer sense of familiarity between the Team.

Over all, everybody seemed to be in good places, and would go very far if they sought the right training.

But Naruto being who he was, would force them into suitable training regardless, as He didn't want his friends to die from lack of strength or skill.

With everything sorted, Kakashi skipped introductions that would most likely of taken place and told us that tomorrow would be a Survive Test.

While Naruto didn't have a concrete idea about the real reason, he had a suspicion.

But until tomorrow, I had to sharpen myself and the others as much as possible.

So Naruto had Sasuke and Sakura enter a Tournament seal, and key it to drop the healed person back in battle-ready position.

And form there, we sparred with everything we had.

He used all of my Jutsu his knew, at least 3 times, he had used My Sealing Chains throughout the entire thing.

And after that, Naruto had Sasuke and Fenrir, the latter who had been watching with a proud expression, Help me adjust to Fenrir's Fang.

While Sasuke was a little jealous he didn't get a cool sword, he understood the importance if such a weapon and that it was given to Naruto.

It was an honour for those that were marked as a member of the Pack, not just a summoner.

Naruto was truly a Wolf now, but he wouldn't let the expectations of others weigh him down. Not that it could.

We sparred till dinner, which Fenrir, Frigga and Kakashi skipped so that the Two wolves could help Kakashi as well.

And so on the morning of the test, After preparing everything he could need: Armour, Kunai, And a storage Seal filled with his personal Fuinjutsu creations that were wither untested and volatile, Or perfected and Refined.

Either way, Kakashi didn't have any idea what what about to hit him.
