Evie is seen walking around the corner as she messed with something in her hand as she passes by the professor who was struggling to open the book of the dead.she slightly glanced over only to do a double take to see the legendary book as the professor continues to struggle only to see Evie starring causing him to pause as the eye glass that was attached to his shirt fell with his arms slightly crossed over the book.

Her eyes widen as she slightly looked away before turning back to the professor "I believe you need a key to open that book"she explained to him notice it has the same lock design as the coffin did before she walks away leaving him to study on were this lock was.she then shows up to were her group was sitting by the fire before getting excited about what she had found inside the sarcophagus.

Back at the group while Rick was messing with the fire the Americans decided to make fun of there little discovery."say O'Connell what do you think these babies'll fetch back home"Henderson asked smugly as he showed him one the ancient sacred kenobic jars they had found.

"We here you boys and gals found your selves a nice gooey mummy"burns taunts as he takes a seat along with Henderson and David who where smirking."congratulations.if you dry that fella out,you might be able to sell him for firewood"David jokes as he and the other two laugh while moona glares at them from her spot as before she goes back to what she was doing which reading some notes she had wrote down.

Rick just mocks there chuckles when Evie finally returned"look what I found"she says with a smile as Rick turns towards Beni who was in her spot."your I'm her seat"Beni just weakly laughs but realized that he was not joking before rushing out of her spot into another allowing Evie to take a seat right in between Rick and moona."scarab skeletons flesh eaters I found them inside our friends coffin.they can stay alive for years feasting on the flesh of a corpse."she starts explaining while Rick and Jonathan reach into her hand picking up little scarab skeletons a close up is shown on her hand showing a few skeletons in her hand while moona looked at them with caution.

"Unfortunately for our friend he was still alive when they started eating him"she also explained his fate on why he looked the way he did the Americans are seen listening as Henderson was messing with the fire.

"So somebody put threw these in with our guy and then slowly eat him alive"summoning up on what happened while the mummy they found had to deal with while being buried alive causing some shivers down some of the men's back as they pictured it."very slowly"as she goes back to looking at the scarab skeletons.

"He certainly wasn't a popular fellow when they planted him"Jonathan comments from beside moona who then glared at him you don't joke about things like this."well he probably he got a little too frisky with the pharaohs daughter"Rick joked if only he realized how true that statement was only it wasn't seti's daughter it was his mistress.

"Well according to my readings...our friend suffered the Hom-Dai,the worst of all ancient Egyptian curse's.one reserved only for the most evil of blasphemers. In all my research I've never heard of this curse having actually been preformed"she explained going of on some of the readings as it explains what he was punished with he must have done something extremely terrible in his life to end up like that.

"That bad huh"Rick says while everyone listens to her around the fire.

"Yes,well,they--they never used it because they feared it so.its written that if a victim of the Hom-Dai should ever arise...he would bring with him the ten plagues of Egypt"she explained the mean of the curse as everyone went silent while moon sits starring at the fire that bad feeling getting worse as she was lost in her thoughts.

Later on that night while everyone was sleep Evie is seen slowly sneaking up to were the professor is sleeping as she quietly and gently removes the black book from his hold not waking him up at all she silently walks back where her group was sleeping as she passed by Rick who she thought was asleep."that's called stealing you know"with his eyes still closed.
