Chapter 3 - I Didn't Break Anything Right?

It had been announced to employees and the public that the Pizza-Plex had been confirmed to be closed for the next two-three weeks due to confirmed renovations and building that is taking place within the Plex. This was not standard maintenance though, it was a completely new attraction.

This had quelled most rumors and skyrocketed the popularity of a few to the point that even a few news stations and youtube channels were covering it and what it possibly could end up being. Was there a new animatronic? Who knew? [Not them lol]

Two days had passed since the higher-ups had came to visit the animatronic and discus what to do with it and some progress had been made by mainly Alex. Mainly him and James had been digging through old files and blueprints in the archive and had managed to find a copy of her blueprints, though it was old and wasn't preserved that well so most of the day had consisted of the two attempting to make sense it though they didn't have much to go by.

Though with what little time left that alex had left of his shift, he managed to install a temporary voice box and set it to transfer the data from the old voice box onto it overnight so that they wouldn't have to spend days rewriting the code, and so that she wouldn't wake up half the city whenever she spoke.

[Finally another first person POV]

I'm done with deciphering these damn ancient blueprints. Someone else can do that.

Ya know what, i'll just wing it. This power core can't be that complex, i'll just repair it to a decent state so we can introduce her to the others. They have been getting quite suspicious lately and that glitchy screeching that she did a couple days ago didn't help at all.

I pulled up into the employee car park before presenting my ID card to the bot at the gate.

The bot scanned it for a second before looking back at me and motioning me through.

'Huh, weird the bots usually say something before letting you through, I swear somethings been off with them for a while now, must be the main server or something.'

"Thanks." I muttered before looking forwards and driving to my spot. Well the employees don't technically have dedicated spots but this one is next to the employee door that has the quickest route to El Chips and Part and Service and it's mine, no questions asked.

I took my key and left the car, walking to the door, pressing the lock button on my key.

'Now comes trying to get her running again and hopefully introducing her to the animatronics.'

I didn't need to go to El Chips to get some breakfast today because I actually managed to wake up with enough time to get cook myself some before i headed to work so I instead headed straight to Parts and Service. Which is honestly a miracle within itself.  [Me IRL]

'The Utility Tunnels are surprisingly quiet this morning. I guess it makes sense, the pizza plex closed today and will be for a couple weeks but still. It's almost silent.'

'This issue with the bots might be bigger than i thought.'

'Eh, oh well. I can deal with that later, I have much more pressing matters right now.'

"Morning Alex!"

I almost jumped out my skin as i walked into Parts and Service, Freddy directly behind the door as I opened it, putting him right in front of me.

"Freddy!"

"I am terribly sorry Alex. I did not mean to scare you! I just wanted to greet you!"

"... How long have you been standing there?"
